American Express has announced its newest and 15th Centurion Lounge location at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL).
When it opens in 2023, this new lounge will be the largest space in the entire Centurion Lounge network and will feature unique amenities that travelers are sure to love.
Let’s take a look at all the details we have so far!
ATL Amex Centurion Lounge Details
While we don’t yet know exactly when in 2023 the new lounge will open, we do know that it will be a whopping 26,000 square feet in size, making it larger than the Centurion Lounges at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and LaGuardia Airport (LGA) combined!
As far as amenities go, travelers passing through the forthcoming ATL Centurion Lounge can expect the following features:
Multiple outdoor areas, including a garden terrace with tarmac views — a first for a Centurion Lounge
A modern bourbon bar, another first for the Centurion Lounge network
Buffet dining options reflective of the local cuisine
Design inspired by Atlanta’s landscape and architecture
The lounge will also offer the standard slate of amenities travelers have become used to at other Centurion Lounges, including high-speed Wi-Fi, shower suites, private workspaces, and more. American Express also said that additional amenities will be announced closer to the lounge’s opening date.
This brand-new Centurion Lounge will be located in Concourse E, between the domestic and international terminals at the nation’s busiest airport. Even if your flight is located in a different concourse, it’ll be easy to make a stop at the Centurion Lounge before or in between flights by using the airport’s “Plane Train” system.
Previously, eligible Amex cardholders flying through Atlanta had plenty of lounges (including Delta Sky Clubs) to choose from, but those spaces can get very busy.
Soon, these cardholders will have access to the world’s largest Centurion Lounge. We’ll continue to update this story with more information as we receive it, and rest assured that we’ll be there to check out the space as soon as it opens!
