Hilton is bolstering its massive Mexican presence with the announcement of the Hilton Cancún Mar Caribe All-Inclusive Resort, opening this fall.

Let’s take a look at this massive all-inclusive property.

Hilton Cancun Mar Caribe All-Inclusive Resort has 459 ocean-view guest rooms and 81 suites. Some offer over 1,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space.

Amenities include 5 dining options, 5 bars, several pools, children’s play areas, and a spa. And, the resort is just 10 miles from Cancún International Airport (CUN).

In announcing the resort, Hilton said Mexico is integral to the brand’s success in the Caribbean and Latin America, particularly in the all-inclusive sector.

“The addition of Hilton Cancun Mar Caribe All-Inclusive Resort has helped solidify our positioning as an all-inclusive hospitality leader in the country where we’ve now more than doubled our all-inclusive presence since 2021,” said Juan Corvinos, Senior Vice President of Development, Architecture, and Construction, Caribbean and Latin America, Hilton.

Hilton has a massive portfolio in Mexico, particularly in the Quintana Roo state, which includes Cancún and Playa del Carmen. Some other Hilton all-inclusive properties in the region include Hilton CancúnHilton Tulum Riviera Maya, and Hilton Playa del Carmen.

The chain has over 200 hotels open in the Caribbean and Latin America, with 110 in the pipeline.

How To Book

The Hilton Cancun Mar Caribe All-Inclusive Resort is now accepting reservations for a November 1, 2023, opening.

While cash rates appear to be available, unfortunately, award bookings are either unavailable or showing up as sold out. This indicates that Hilton hasn’t loaded the option to book with Hilton Honors points into the website.

However, other Hilton all-inclusive resorts in the area range from 53,000 to 100,000 Hilton Honors points, so this resort will likely fall somewhere in that range. Hilton says the resort will participate in its loyalty program.

The Hilton Honors program no longer uses an award chart. Instead, it has adopted variable award pricing. This means award nights can be cheaper or more expensive rates depending on when you travel.

Bottom Line:

It’s quite easy to earn Hilton Honors pointsHilton offers several co-branded credit cards, all of which have generous welcome bonuses. Members can also transfer points from American Express, ride with Lyft, or dine out.

Final Thoughts

There’s no shortage of luxury all-inclusive resorts in Cancun, so this resort should fit in nicely. While we don’t yet know how many points will be required for a stay, that information should be available soon, so keep saving your Hilton Honors points!
