Drop everything because we’ve got a spectacular new deal here on a trip to the Maldives. Been wanting to visit but don’t have enough points? Worried that the cost for transfers is going to wring you dry?

Emirates Vacations has you covered here with an all-inclusive stay at the Kuredu Island Resort. Even better, flights from the U.S. and transfers to the resort are included.

First spotted by TravelZoo, this deal is one you need to run for — let’s take a look.

Book Your Dream Trip to the Maldives From $3,596

We get that nobody really wants to pay for a vacation, especially when you can use points and miles for your stay. But the Maldives is one of those special destinations that warrants forking over some cash, especially when it means you’re essentially paying for a flight and getting the hotel stay for free.

In this example, you’d be staying 5 nights at the Kuredu Island Resort in a garden bungalow, with all flights, transfers, meals, and drinks included. You’ll also get included activities, such as a sunset cruise and a snorkeling session.

If a garden bungalow isn’t your style, you can also opt to upgrade to a beach villa for an extra $35 or an overwater villa for $979.

To find this deal, head on over to Emirates Vacation’s promotion page. There’s a range of dates and airports on offer, though the cheapest will be from New York (JFK).

Why Is This Such a Big Deal?

We’ve been posting about Maldives for a while now, especially since they top the list of many travelers’ bucket lists. However, even when redeeming your points for a trip to the Maldives, you end up paying quite a lot of money for your stay. This is because of the need to pay for food, drinks, and transfers.

As an example, it’ll cost you 480,000 Hilton points for a 5-night stay at the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island (with the 5th night free for elite members). This can score you either a beach villa or an overwater villa.

We value Hilton points at 0.5 cents each, which means you’ll be redeeming $2,400 worth of points for your stay. However, that just gets you the room — and nothing else.

You’ll also need to take into account the cost of your transfer to the resort, which is $675 per person, plus any food or drinks that you order during your stay.

This means that, at a minimum, you’re looking at spending $3,750 for your 5 nights and your transfers.

Of course, you’ll also need to travel to the Maldives from the U.S., the cost of which you can hopefully offset with your points and miles. Still, at this rate you’re already spending more than you would for an entire vacation with this deal.

Hot Tip:

When paying cash for travel rather than using points, we recommend using a travel rewards credit card. For example, using the Chase Sapphire Reserve® to book your travel package would earn 3x points per $1 spent.

Final Thoughts

The Maldives is an incredible destination to visit, which is one reason why it’s so popular with points and miles travelers.

However, there is a time and a place to use those miles — and this isn’t one of them. Instead, take advantage of this pricing to score 5 nights in the Maldives at an all-inclusive resort for just $3,596. Your flights are even included!
