Hyatt is expanding its Inclusive Collection brand with the opening of a new resort near Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

Here’s what you need to know about the resort!

Dreams Flora To Become the Fifth Dreams Resort in the Caribbean

The Dreams Flora Resort & Spa has more than 500 rooms, all of which include either private, furnished balconies or terraces. The resort is a roughly 20-minute drive from Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ).

Food options include Asian and Mexican cuisines, a buffet, a café, with no reservation required for any of the restaurants.

In-room amenities include room service, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a minibar, Guests booking Preferred Club rooms receive additional perks like check-in and checkout with concierge service, access to the Preferred Club pool, bar, and lounge, upgraded bath amenities, and more.

The resort is family-friendly and has separate pools for children and adults. An Explorer’s Club for children between 3 and 12 offers fun activities like arts and crafts, a playground, treasure hunts, and video games. A “teen’s club” for kids between 13 and 17 offers non-alcoholic drinks and movies on the beach.

The new resort will become Hyatt’s 12th in the Dominican Republic and the fifth Dreams Resort & Spa in the Caribbean. Hyatt’s all-inclusive resorts are mostly under the Secrets, Zoetry, Hyatt Ziva, and Hyatt Zilara brands.

“The continued growth of our brands in the Dominican Republic with the opening of Dreams Flora Resort & Spa offers guests the opportunity to reconnect and disconnect in an idyllic location,” said Gonzalo del Peón, Group President of Americas and Global Commercial for Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection.

Book the Dreams Flora Resort on Points

The Dreams Flora Resort & Spa will participate in the World of Hyatt program, meaning guests can earn and redeem points at the property. It’s listed in Hyatt’s all-inclusive resorts Category B, and award nights range between 17,000 and 23,000 points per night.

If you’re low on points, The World of Hyatt Credit Card or World of Hyatt Business Credit Card both offer bonus points as part of their welcome offers and additional points for making purchases with the cards in specific spending categories.

Hot Tip: If you have a card that earns Chase Ultimate Rewards or Bilt Rewards, you can transfer them to World of Hyatt at a 1:1 ratio.

Final Thoughts

The Dominican Republic is one of the most popular destinations in the Caribbean. The Dreams Flora is an excellent use of World of Hyatt points, as award nights start at just 17,000 points. If you’re planning a trip to Punta Cana this year, make sure to add this new resort to your list, especially if you’re looking for a family-friendly option!
