Norse Atlantic Adds Las Vegas to London Service From September

Long-haul low-cost Norse Atlantic will be touching down in Las Vegas for the first time this fall.

The U.K.-based subsidiary of the Norwegian-headquartered carrier will launch its inaugural service from London Gatwick (LGW) to Las Vegas on September 12, 2024.

“We look forward to welcoming Norse Atlantic Airways to Las Vegas for the first time this September with this new route from the United Kingdom, our number one source of overseas visitation,” said Steve Hill, president and CEO of the Las Vegas Convention.

Norse’s Sixth Route to London From the U.S.

Norse Atlantic is doubling down on the U.S. with the addition of a nonstop service from London to Las Vegas.

When the service starts in September, it will become the airline’s sixth nonstop service from the U.S. to London’s Gatwick Airport (LGW). At the time of writing, Norse Atlantic serves the following 5 U.S. cities with nonstop service from Gatwick: Los Angeles (LAX), Miami (MIA), New York (JFK), Orlando (MCO), and Washington, D.C. (IAD).

Norse will operate the route 3 times per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays until January 14, 2025, with the following schedule:

• Depart London Gatwick (LGW) 12 p.m. — Arrive Las Vegas (LAS) 2:40 p.m.
• Depart Las Vegas (LAS) 4:45 p.m. — Arrive London Gatwick (LGW) 10:35 a.m. (+1)

Norse’s fleet is made up entirely of Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners that comprise a total of 338 seats in economy and premium cabins.

The large premium economy cabin features 56 extra-reclining seats in a 2-3-2 configuration.

True to its low-cost model, you can snag a round-trip ticket in economy from $503. While that might not seem like a screaming deal, it’s over $300 cheaper than British Airways and Virgin Atlantic’s nonstop services between the 2 cities.

For the extra legroom and comfort of premium economy, the lowest fare you’ll find starts at around $1,630 for the round-trip journey.
