The Platinum Card® from American Express is likely top of mind when you think of a premium credit card, and with its newly refreshed benefits, it’s worth considering if you don’t already have one.
The Amex Platinum card combines elite travel and lifestyle benefits like access to over 1,550 airport lounges worldwide, elite status with 3 hotel chains, and new and improved annual statement credits such as up to $600 in annual prepaid hotel credit, up to $400 in annual Resy credit, up to in $300 digital entertainment credit, up to in $300 lululemon credit. In fact, these annual statement credits not only help offset the annual fee, but they also provide you with thousands of dollars in annual value. Keep in mind that some benefits might require enrollment.
Plus, unlike typical credit cards that have a credit limit, the Amex Platinum card has no preset spending limit — the amount you can spend adapts based on factors such as your purchase, payment, and credit history.
When you combine all of these benefits with the massive welcome offer, it’s clear why the Amex Platinum card remains one of the top credit cards available. The newly added perks make it an even better choice for anyone seeking a truly elevated credit card experience.
