Another card to consider is the Freedom Unlimited card, which offers decent benefits for a no-annual-fee card. You earn 3% cash-back on dining purchases.
You also earn 5% cash-back on travel booked with Chase Travel, 3% on purchases at drugstores, and 1.5% cash-back on all other purchases. This can make the Freedom Unlimited card great for when you don’t have another card with a category bonus.
Even better, if you also have a premium Chase card (like the Chase Sapphire Preferred card or Chase Sapphire Reserve card), your cash-back can be converted to valuable Chase Ultimate Rewards points by combining the rewards from your different Chase cards. We value Ultimate Rewards points at around 2 cents each, so this can give you an even better return on your dining spending. Combining Ultimate Rewards points among different Chase cards can be a great way to get a ton of value from your credit card spending.
