Reno-based start-up airline aha! is launching a new route to Idaho Falls (IDA).

The new route, operated by ExpressJet Airlines, from Reno-Tahoe (RNO) to Idaho Falls (IDA) will launch on August 11, 2022.

It’s hoped that the new route will provide a host of new staycation possibilities thanks to the many tourist attractions in and around both Reno and Idaho Falls.

“We are thrilled to offer eastern Idaho residents with the opportunity to explore the incredible gaming, dining, shows, and indoor/outdoor fun of Reno and Lake Tahoe without lengthy drives or layovers,” said Tim Sieber, head of the aha! business unit at ExpressJet Airlines. “The easy access to Yellowstone, the Greenbelt, museums and other treasures will surely attract a lot of Reno residents to Idaho Falls.”

Here’s everything you need to know about aha!’s new route.

An ExpressJet Airlines 50-seater regional Embraer ERJ145 will be the aircraft to operate the route.

The jets are laid out in an all-economy 1-2 configuration.
