Quick Overview: Best Websites for All-Inclusive Vacation Packages

This guide compares 10 popular booking platforms: CheapCaribbean, Apple Vacations, Expedia, Funjet Vacations, Orbitz, CheapTickets, Kayak, American Airlines Vacations, Delta Vacations, and United Vacations.

In a like-for-like 7-night all-inclusive package comparison with flights, Funjet Vacations and Kayak returned the lowest prices. Booking flights and hotels together as a package is often cheaper than booking each component separately.

Kayak operates as a metasearch engine, comparing prices across multiple sites rather than handling bookings directly. Expedia is part of the One Key Rewards program, while Orbitz has its own Orbucks Rewards program. American Airlines Vacations, Delta Vacations, and United Vacations also allow you to earn and redeem miles on all-inclusive packages.

1. CheapCaribbean.com

CheapCaribbean.com is a popular site for finding inexpensive vacations, and you can filter your results to only show all-inclusive resorts.

First, enter your destination and travel dates. Then you’ll see your search results. There are lots of filtering options. Select where it says “All-Inclusive.”

CheapCaribbean

Listings may include extras, such as resort credit or airport transfers, that can add value to your package without increasing the cost. Anything not included, such as trip insurance or excursions, is displayed as options before you check out.

Extra perks at Cheap Caribbean
Each hotel’s listing will include information on any included extras, such as resort credit or airport transfers. Image Credit: Cheap Caribbean

A feature of Cheap Caribbean is the Budget Beach Finder. This tool lets you search all destinations and dates at once to find the best deal for your vacation.

All you need to do is enter your departure airport and then select the option entitled “Flexible Dates” (choose any month or combination of months plus any number of nights) or choose the option that says “Specific Dates” to see a calendar that shows pricing for your exact travel dates.

You’ll be able to see all the best deals in one place, allowing you to compare options for your all-inclusive vacation.

2. Apple Vacations

If you’re searching for a vacation package, you’ve likely come across Apple Vacations. It specializes in deals on tropical getaways and allows filtering for all-inclusive resorts by selecting the option that says “All-Inclusive” in the search results.

Many Apple Vacations packages in Mexico and the Caribbean include complimentary round-trip airport transfers. Some hotels and brands also offer additional perks and seasonal deals.

Apple Vacations Exclusive Perks

Apple Vacations Exclusive Perks include special limited-time deals for popular brands like Iberostar, Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection, Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts, Paradisus by Melia, Riu Hotels and Resorts, Xcaret Hotels, and more. These perks vary by location and can include spa credits, in-room amenities, welcome gifts, early check-in, late checkout, and so on.

Apple Vacations also allows you to book extras like car rentals, trip insurance, and activities during the booking process. While this can sometimes be a good deal, it’s always smart to do a quick price check on these items before booking. Apple Vacations offers a price-match guarantee, allowing you to request a lower rate if you find the same vacation package advertised for less elsewhere, valid until the day after booking.

Hot Tip:

Before booking an excursion as part of your all-inclusive vacation package, do a quick price check on a website like Viator to ensure you’re getting a good deal.

3. Expedia

Expedia is a popular online travel agency for booking flights and hotels, but you can also use it to book all-inclusive vacation packages. After specifying your departure and destination cities and travel dates, look for the all-inclusive filter on the left side of your screen.

Log in to your account to see the best prices and how much OneKeyCash you can earn. One Key Rewards is the loyalty program shared by Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo.

With the One Key program, you can earn and redeem rewards called OneKeyCash on eligible trips and access special member pricing. Using a travel agency’s rewards program, like this one, provides a way to earn rewards when you’re not loyal to any particular hotel chain.

4. Funjet Vacations

Funjet Vacations specializes in vacation packages, especially all-inclusive resorts in popular destinations like Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, and Hawaii.

You can search for all-inclusive resorts by clicking on the tab saying “All-Inclusive” on the filter options above your search results.

During checkout, you can add extras to your booking, including trip insurance, airport transfers, rental cars, and sightseeing tours.

Keep an eye out for Funjet Exclusive Perks deals, a program that’s similar to Apple Vacations Exclusive Perks. You get special benefits at hotels of popular brands, including Iberostar, Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection, Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts, Paradisus by Melia, Riu Hotels and Resorts, and Grand Palladium Hotels and Resorts.

These perks, which vary by location, can include spa credits, in-room amenities, welcome gifts, early check-in, and late checkout.

5. Orbitz

One of Orbitz’s main benefits is its Orbitz Rewards program. You earn Orbucks on flights, hotels, and vacation packages booked through the platform. Then you can use your Orbucks toward future hotel reservations. This allows you to participate in a loyalty program without loyalty to a specific brand.

You can easily find all-inclusive vacation packages on Orbitz by entering your desired destination and travel dates and then filtering your search results by selecting where it says “All-Inclusive.” Each search result also clearly displays how many Orbucks you can earn for your purchase.

Hot Tip:

When booking an all-inclusive resort, be sure to enter the correct number of guests traveling, as quoted prices are per person.

6. CheapTickets

CheapTickets is another website that lets you narrow your search to all-inclusive resorts only. After entering your destination and travel dates, use the filters on the left to select the option saying “All-Inclusive.”

One of this site’s most useful tools is the map feature, which allows you to search for hotels by location. This can be helpful if you want a resort close to specific tourist attractions or landmarks.

You may notice that CheapTickets is powered by Expedia, so you might think that both sites offer the same deals. Realistically, each site can show different search results and different prices, so check both to see which offers the best deal.

Hot Tip:

CheapTickets offers special travel deals to military members, including veterans and National Guard members.

7. Kayak

You might think of Kayak as a website for flight searches, but it can also find hotels, car rentals, cruises, and vacation packages. This easy-to-use site is a metasearch engine, which means it can search other sites for travel so you can easily see lower-priced options. Then it transfers you to a separate site to book.

After specifying your travel details, filter by the all-inclusive category under the section that says “Board” on the left to view only all-inclusive resorts.

Kayak All Inclusive Vacation Packages
You can filter your results to only show all-inclusive resorts. Image Credit: Kayak

Each search result lists a separate website where that particular deal can be found. If multiple websites offer a similar deal, you can see them all by clicking the See all dropdown arrow under where it says “View Deal.” Although Kayak listed the cheapest option (through Priceline), the late flight time resulted in 1 fewer night of accommodation, so it’s important to review the details closely.

Hot Tip:

When purchasing a vacation package from an online travel agency, be sure to use a credit card that earns bonus points on travel. The American Express Green Card®* and Wells Fargo Autograph Journey℠ Card earn 3 points per $1 spent at travel agencies.

*The information regarding the American Express Green Card® was independently collected by Upgraded Points and not provided nor reviewed by the issuer.

8. American Airlines Vacations

If you’re looking to earn more American Airlines miles, you can do so by booking an all-inclusive vacation package through American Airlines Vacations. To find these options, select the option saying “All-inclusive resort” under the property types filter on the left side of your search results.

AA Vacations All Inclusive Options
You can book all-inclusive resort packages through American Airlines Vacations. Image Credit: American Airlines Vacations

AAdvantage members earn 1 mile and 1 Loyalty Point per $1 spent on any package booked through AA Vacations. Those with status can earn up to 5 miles and 5 Loyalty Points per $1 (excluding taxes and fees). It’s also worth keeping an eye out for special deals that offer up to 30,000 bonus miles (Source: AmericanAirlines.com).

If you have American Airlines miles and would like to save cash on your vacation, you can book an all-inclusive vacation with miles. You’d only redeem 1 cent per point, and since we value American Airlines miles at 1.4 cents each, it would not be a great deal. However, if you have miles to spare and would rather have an all-inclusive vacation instead of flights, this could be a way to make that happen.

The slider bar on the checkout page allows you to select any combination of miles and cash to pay.

Hot Tip:

You can either earn AAdvantage miles when booking a hotel or vacation package through American Airlines, or you can use them to pay for your trip. For more information, check out our guide to booking through American Airlines Vacations.

9. Delta Vacations

Booking an all-inclusive holiday with Delta Vacations offers convenience, value, and added rewards. You can bundle flights, hotels, and transfers into one package, which often results in lower overall pricing. You’ll also earn Delta SkyMiles on your booking, which can be redeemed for future travel.

Delta Vacations
Members are eligible for bonus miles based on the value of their vacation booking. Image Credit: Delta Air Lines

Depending on member status, Delta SkyMiles members can earn up to 5 miles per $1 on the flight portion of a vacation booking (minus taxes and fees). Members are also eligible for bonus miles based on the value of their vacation booking:

  • Bookings up to $4,999: 1,000 miles
  • Bookings from $5,000 to $9,999: 5,000 miles
  • Bookings over $10,000: 10,000 miles

(Source: Delta.com)

The Delta Vacations website regularly features limited-time deals and perks at select resorts, making it easier to maximize value. Shared return transfers are usually included in packages to Mexico and the Caribbean.

10. United Vacations

United Vacations can make planning an all-inclusive trip pretty straightforward. Packages combine flights, hotels, and transfers into a single booking. That often works out cheaper than arranging everything separately and keeps it all organized in one place.

You can earn MileagePlus miles on your booking, adding value toward future trips, and members can also pay partially or fully for a booking with miles (excluding taxes and fees). United Vacations also offers a same-day price guarantee for added confidence. United MileagePlus members typically earn 3 to 9 miles per $1 on the flight portion of a package and up to 2 miles per $1 on accommodation and extras when booking through United’s website.

All-Inclusive Vacation Package Price Comparisons

We priced out a 7-night stay for 2 adults at Secrets Tides Punta Cana, a popular all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, plus round-trip, economy airfare from Chicago in December. We checked prices for just the hotel and for a hotel-and-flight package.

Prices were for 2 people in a Junior Suite Double, the least expensive room available.

In this comparison, you can save money by booking a flight and hotel together. The comparison revealed very little difference between the hotel-only and combined pricing for Expedia and Orbitz.

The cheapest flight-and-hotel package was from Kayak (available through Priceline), with Funjet Vacations coming in a close second. That doesn’t mean these websites will always have the best price, but they are a good place to start. It’s also worth checking which flight the package price is based on to see if it’s a convenient fit. If you’re looking for an all-inclusive vacation package, comparing multiple sites can help identify lower prices.

Final Thoughts

Across 10 sites, this guide highlights a mix of booking options, from direct OTAs to metasearch platforms. Funjet Vacations and Kayak showed the lowest prices in our comparison, but deals can vary. It’s always worth checking multiple sites before booking. In most cases, bundling flights and hotels delivers better overall value than booking each separately.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the cheapest place to book all-inclusive vacations?

In a like-for-like 7-night all-inclusive package comparison with flights, Funjet Vacations and Kayak delivered the lowest prices. Although Kayak listed the cheapest option (available through Priceline), late flight time resulted in 1 fewer night of accommodation, so it’s important to review the details closely.

Is a flight included in all-inclusive vacations?

All-inclusive resorts typically do not include flights. To bundle flights, hotels, and sometimes a rental car, you need to book a vacation package. In many cases, booking flights and hotels together is cheaper than booking them separately.

Is alcohol included in all-inclusive resorts?

Whether alcohol is included at all-inclusive resorts varies by property. Generally, most all-inclusive resorts include some type of alcohol in the price. Premium liquors, spirits, and wines often cost extra.

How do I get the best deal on an all-inclusive resort?

To get the best deal on an all-inclusive resort, use a metasearch engine like Kayak or an online travel agency like CheapTickets to find which resorts offer the lowest prices. If you have flexibility, search for deals by price rather than a specific destination or resort. Try booking either far in advance or at the last minute, and avoid peak travel times like Christmas or spring break. Finally, booking a vacation package that includes flights and a hotel stay may be a good way to save money.

Can I use points or miles to book an all-inclusive vacation?

Some booking sites, like American Airlines Vacations, Delta Vacations, and United Vacations, allow you to redeem airline miles directly toward vacation packages. Others, such as Expedia, let you use rewards through their own loyalty programs.

Is it cheaper to book flights and hotels together for an all-inclusive vacation?

In many cases, booking flights and hotels together is cheaper for an all-inclusive vacation. Travel providers often bundle pricing, which can unlock lower overall rates than booking each component separately.
