Update:

The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

Lufthansa launched its new Allegris business class cabin in North America on May 1, 2024, starting with the inaugural flight from Munich to Vancouver, British Columbia.

After that, the Airbus A350-900 aircraft with Allegris started flying to more North American destinations, including Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD), in July 2024. By February 2025, Lufthansa broadened its Allegris service to include more U.S. destinations like Newark (EWR), New York (JFK), San Francisco (SFO), San Diego (SAN), and Charlotte (CLT).

If you’re interested in experiencing Lufthansa’s stylish new business class to Germany, we’ve found award seats starting at 70,000 points per person for travel from now until early 2026!

Let’s take a look at the details.

Award Alert: Details

These awards are available through Air Canada’s Aeroplan and can be booked for as low as 70,000 miles one-way per passenger. You’ll fly in Lufthansa’s new Allegris Business Class, which includes a lie-flat bed, direct aisle access, Bluetooth connectivity, a 17-inch 4K TV, and modern amenities.

  • Class: Business
  • Routes: New York (JFK), Chicago (ORD), and San Francisco (SFO) to Munich (MUC)
  • Dates: July 2025 through January 2026
  • Rates: As few as 70,000 points one-way plus $55
  • Seats: Up to 7 passengers in business class

Lufthansa’s Airbus A350-900s are all based in Munich (MUC), so for this award deal, you can find Allegris award space to and from Munich from U.S. airports: Chicago O’Hare, San Francisco, and New York’s JFK. You’ll want to make sure the flight you’re eyeing is on an Airbus A350-900. Otherwise, it won’t be equipped with Lufthansa’s Allegris product.

Final Thoughts

We’ve discovered some fantastic award space to Munich with Lufthansa, giving you the chance to enjoy the airline’s chic Allegris business class seat.

If you’re considering a trip to Germany later this year or early 2026, this might be a great opportunity to redeem Aeroplan points for a comfortable flight across the Atlantic Ocean. This amount of award space is quite rare, so if you’re thinking about booking, now’s the time!
