Breeze is building out its route network from Islip (ISP) this summer.
The regional New York airport will welcome 2 new nonstop routes to Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, (RDU) and Portland, Maine, (PWM). This brings the total number of Breeze routes to and from the Long Island airport to 8.

Breeze Offers Seasonal Route Between Islip and Portland
Breeze’s newest Islip (ISP) to Portland (PWM) route will herald the first and only nonstop service between the 2 cities — a testament to Breeze’s goal of connecting smaller, regional cities with nonstop point-to-point services.
The new seasonal service will inaugurate on Wednesday, June 28, operating twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays:
“We expect this new summer seasonal service, nonstop to Islip, will be as popular as our other PWM routes have proven already,” said David Neeleman, CEO at Breeze Airways. “We look forward to further growth from Portland.”
Portland has yet to welcome Breeze Airways, with its first-ever flight from the airport set to depart to Tampa (TPA) on May 17, 2023.
Following the airline’s arrival in Maine’s, 3 more routes to Charleston (CHS), Norfolk (ORF), and Pittsburgh (PIT) will take wing before the recently-announced service to Islip (ISP) joins the pack.
Even better, Breeze is offering introductory fares on the route from just $49 one-way.
Breeze Connects Portland to Raleigh-Durham Year-round
On Thursday, June 29, the day after service from Islip to Portland begins, Breeze’s route from Islip to Raleigh-Durham will take off. Additionally, the year-round service will operate on Thursdays and Sundays with the following schedule:
Finally, both new services will be operated by the airline’s fleet of Embraer E190 aircraft. They comprise a total of 108 seats: 60 standard economy seats and 48 extra legroom economy seats.
