Air Europa is a Spanish airline that’s Iberia’s main competitor. In response to Iberia’s recent flight deals between the U.S. and Spain starting at $219 each way, Air Europa has launched its own set of promo fares between the 2 countries starting at $353 round- trip.

The promo’s booking and flying dates are unclear, so it’s best to jump on any low fares you see ASAP because there’s no guarantee of how long they’ll be available. Still, if you play your cards just right, you could be eating tapas and taking siestas in Madrid in no time.

Here’s what you need to know.

Deal Alert — Details

Yesterday, we covered Iberia’s deals between the U.S. and Spain starting at $219 each way, and Air Europa clearly noticed. The rival airline has launched its own set of promo fares between the 2 countries starting at $353 round- trip.

There’s no clear information on booking deadlines or eligible flight dates, so you’ll need to play with dates to see what you can find. And since there’s no clear deadline, these deals could disappear at any time.

  • Class: Economy Lite (seat selection and checked bags are not included)
  • Routes: New York (JFK) and Miami (MIA) to/from Madrid (MAD)
  • Dates: Unspecified, but we found this pricing for specific fall and winter dates between September 2025 and February 2026
  • Prices: Starting at $353 round-trip
  • Booking deadline: Not specified

The best deals are on round-trip flights between New York (JFK) or Miami (MIA) and Madrid (MAD). You’ll pay as little as $353 round-trip in economy.

These fares don’t include seat selection or checked baggage, though, so make sure you compare the fare types to get the one you need.

Note that there are offers for flights originating in the U.S. (in New York or Miami) that go to other European destinations, but these flights have a connection in Madrid.

Finally, there are some offers to fly within Spain and around Europe. Air Europa has matched Iberia’s promotional deals of flights around Spain for €21 ($24) and flights around Europe starting at €25 ($29) each way, so that’s worth looking into if you’d like to travel more once you get to Madrid.

Best Ways To Book

Air Europa doesn’t have a co-branded credit card in the U.S., so it’s best to use a credit card that gives you bonus points for travel purchases.

Book with a credit card like the Chase Sapphire Reserve®, where you can earn 4x points per $1 spent on bookings directly with an airline. Alternatively, pay with The Platinum Card® from American Express, which offers 5x points on flights booked through AmexTravel.com or directly with airlines — up to $500,000 of these purchases annually, then 1x earnings.

Hot Tip:

Air Europa is part of the SkyTeam alliance. You could sign up for the airline’s SUMA loyalty program, or you could add in your Delta SkyMiles or Flying Blue number to earn points or miles for flying with Air Europa.

Final Thoughts

We love that Spanish airlines are competing to give travelers the best deal possible. That said, finding Air Europa’s sale fares on dates that work for you can be a challenge, so it’s best to stay flexible and quickly purchase any deals you find before they disappear.
