To take part in this offer, you’ll need to adjust your IHG One Rewards account settings to earn Miles & More miles, rather than IHG points. With that out of the way, you could earn 5x miles on stays at IHG Hotels & Resorts through December 31, 2024.

You need to register for this offer and book your stays by November 30, 2024, to qualify.

Note that the 5x earning rate applies to most IHG brands, but the earning rate at some properties is lower. At Candlewood Suites and Staybridge Suites properties, you’ll earn 1x mile per dollar spent. At The Venetian Resort Las Vegas and The Venetian Macao, you’ll earn just 500 miles per stay.

During this promotion, you can earn a maximum of 15,000 Miles & More miles. Miles may take up to 6 weeks to post to your account.

Earning Miles & More miles can be difficult, as there aren’t any points transfer partners in the U.S. Aside from holding the Miles & More^® World Elite Mastercard^® from Barclays, you might be searching for more ways to earn miles, and this is an interesting opportunity. You could always change your earning preference back to IHG points after the promotion ends.

But what’s the relative value here? At most IHG brands, you’ll typically earn 10x IHG points per dollar spent (or more, if you have elite status). We value IHG points at 0.5 cents apiece, so earning 10x provides a 5% return on spending.

Conversely, we value Miles & More miles at 1.3 cents each, making your 5x earnings worth a 6.5% return on spending. That’s clearly higher.
