Wherever you’re heading, there’s a Marriott flash sale coming up that could help you get there with up to a 20% discount. You’ll need to book between September 25 and 29, 2024.

However, the terms for this offer say availability is “extremely limited while supplies last,” so you probably shouldn’t delay if you want to book an eligible property during Marriott’s newest sale.

Let’s check out the details to help you maximize this offer.

Marriott Flash Sale — Promotion Details

This Fall Flash Sale promotion offers up to a 20% discount on hotel stays, assuming you’re a Marriott Bonvoy member. If you’re not a member, the maximum discount is 15%. Since joining is free and easy, there’s no reason not to get the higher discount here.

For this sale, you need to book September 25-29, 2024. Thus, the booking window isn’t open just yet.

Eligible stay dates depend on where you’re heading. For the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, and Latin America, eligible stays run from September 30 to November 11, 2024. In Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, it runs from September 30 to November 10, 2024.

Unfortunately, Asia and the Pacific region aren’t included in this offer.

More than 6,000 Marriott hotel properties are participating in this offer, so there should be something available nearly anywhere you want to go. You’ll need to use the promo code QRI to find eligible rates with this offer, and the discount applies to standard rates.

Here are the key terms you should know about this offer:

  • Book September 25-29, 2024, using promo code QRI.
  • This promotion applies to weekend stays from Thursday to Sunday.
  • Stays on a Thursday require staying through at least Friday night.
  • Some properties in the Middle East and Africa consider weekends to be Wednesday through Saturday, so sales apply on those days for these properties. At these locations, Wednesday arrivals require staying through at least Thursday night.
  • Saturday night stays require staying on Friday night also.
  • Marriott Vacations Worldwide (e.g., Marriott, Sheraton, and Westin Vacation Ownership resorts) is included in this policy for transient reservations only. These properties are available every day of the week.
  • This promotion can’t be combined with other offers.
  • Group rates and vacation ownership rates aren’t eligible.
  • Promotional rates aren’t available at these Marriott Bonvoy brands: St. Regis, The Ritz-Carlton, Edition, Bulgari, Design Hotels, MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy, and Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy.
  • Must book at least 5 days in advance.
  • Rates must be prepaid by credit card at the time of booking and cannot be changed, canceled, or refunded.
Bottom Line:

There are many fine-print terms associated with this offer. Note that these are prepaid rates that require a weekend stay to receive the discount, which is up to 20% for Marriott Bonvoy members.

Is It Worth It?

Is it worth saving money? Always. Should you go out of your way to save money? It depends.

If you have upcoming travel plans that align with this sale, this could be a great opportunity to save money on a Marriott stay. Unfortunately, this promotion doesn’t apply to award stays using Marriott Bonvoy points.

It’s also worth considering your existing hotel stays. If you can change or cancel those without a penalty, repricing your existing bookings makes sense. So does comparing these prices against stays you have booked with non-Marriott hotels.

For example, if you’re heading to Spain and booked a Hyatt or Hilton hotel, it could be worth comparing the location and rate against what Marriott is offering during this flash sale.

Final Thoughts

Marriott Bonvoy is running a flash sale from September 25 to 29, offering up to 20% off hotel stays in numerous destinations worldwide. There are many terms to navigate, and discounts don’t apply to certain luxury brands or within the Asia-Pacific area. However, once this offer goes live, there may be something that piques your interest.
