Here are the details of this generous American Airlines promotion.

Earn 5K Loyalty Points From 1 Purchase

Targeted American Airlines cardholders can receive 5,000 Loyalty Points for a limited time by making a a single purchase with their AAdvantage credit card in October, November, or December.

Some cardholders may not receive the same offer, as Keri Stooksbury, UP’s Editor-in-Chief, discovered when she was targeted for a tiered promotion needing $100 of monthly spending to earn the 5,000 Loyalty Points.

These purchases must post to your credit card billing statement before the end of each month.

To see if you’re eligible for this promotion and to register, log in to your American Airlines account. Then, click on the Promotions tab. You can also check your Barclays Aviator account online to see if you’re targeted through the issuer.

Make sure to register and then meet the spending requirements of your targeted offer before the end of each month.

Final Thoughts

There’s a new promotion available for select AAdvantage credit cardholders from October 1 through December 31, 2024. Depending on the targeted offer you receive, you may be able to earn 5,000 Loyalty Points from as little as a single purchase in the months of October, November, and December.
