Aeromexico Rewards members may request a status match to Hilton Honors Gold elite status until the end of 2023. Enrollment is easy and open to all Aeromexico Rewards status tiers.

Here’s everything you need to know to take advantage of this limited-time offer.

Hilton Honors Gold Status for 90 Days

Aeromexico Rewards Gold, Platinum, and Titanium members can request a status match to Hilton Honors Gold. The request must be made before the end of 2023 to enjoy 90 days of status.

Hilton Honors Gold is the second-highest elite status that you can obtain with Hilton. Status holders can look forward to space-available room upgrades, daily food and beverage credits at participating locations, and no resort fees when redeeming awards. Normally, you would have to stay 40 nights with Hilton to earn Gold status.

You can retain your Hilton Honors Gold status by staying 6 nights at Hilton properties within the same 90-day window. Once completed, you can enjoy status for another year, effectively giving you Hilton Gold status until 2025.

Aeromexico Rewards is Mexico’s largest airline loyalty program and a transfer partner of Hilton Honors. Honors members can transfer points to Aeromexico at a ratio of 25:6.5.

How To Request a Status Match

You can request a status match from Aeromexico Rewards to Hilton Honors Gold at this website. Here, you can open a new Hilton Honors account if you don’t already have one. If you already have an account, you’ll just need to log in to your account.

The next step is to choose which level of status you hold with Aeromexico Rewards (Gold, Platinum, or Titanium). The final step is to upload a copy of your Hilton membership card as proof of status and agree to the terms before submitting.

Bottom Line:

You can request to status match from any tier of Aeromexico Rewards to Hilton Honors Gold through 2023. You’ll have Gold status for 90 days, and if you stay 6 nights you’ll retain that status for another year.

Final Thoughts

Having the opportunity to status match to other loyalty programs adds even more value to the quest for elite status. The transfer ratio of Hilton Honors points to Aeromexico Rewards may not be the most favorable, but the chance to status match presents a much more enticing proposition.
