Air Canada is adding service on several U.S.-bound routes, as well as resuming routes that were suspended during the COVID-19 pandemic. Air Canada is an important airline, not only because it provides service to and from Canada, but because it also is a partner with United Airlines, where you’re able to fly from the U.S. to Canada and then onward to many international destinations.
New Service to New York-JFK
Air Canada is adding a twice-daily flight to Toronto (YYZ) from New York (JFK), as well as a daily Montréal (YUL) flight, starting March 26, 2023. This is in addition to extensive services that are already offered out of LaGuardia (LGA) and Newark (EWR).
For the flight to Montréal:
Departs New York (JFK) 12:45 p.m. — Arrive Montréal (YUL) 2:20 p.m.
Departs Montréal (YUL) 6:25 p.m. — Arrive New York (JFK) 8:00 p.m.
For the flights to Toronto:
Depart New York (JFK) 10:00 a.m.— Arrive Toronto (YYZ) 11:45 a.m.
Depart Toronto (YYZ) 11:00 a.m. — Arrive New York (JFK) 12:36 p.m.
Depart New York (JFK) 1:25 p.m. — Arrive Toronto (YYZ) 3:10 p.m.
Depart Toronto (YYZ) 8:30 p.m. — Arrive New York (JFK) 10:06 p.m.
Each flight will operate daily by Air Canada Express on an Embraer 175 aircraft, featuring both business class and economy class.
New Service to Sacramento
Air Canada is adding a new route to California’s capital, Sacramento, on June 1, 2023, with a 4-times-a-week service:
This flight will operate on a Canada Airbus A220-300, featuring both business class and economy class.
