Amex Hotel Collection Deals: Score Free Nights, Discounts, and More [Book by July 15]

American Express is out with some great offers for free nights, discounts, and extra on-property credits for reservations in The Hotel Collection.

Those with the American Express^® Gold Card and Platinum Card^® from American Express — including their small-business counterparts — have access to The Hotel Collection, and these limited-time promotions can definitely enhance your next hotel stay.

These perks are in addition to the standard benefits guests receive when booking through the Hotel Collection. Here’s a look at what we’ve found.

The Hotel Collection Benefits

When searching for a hotel through AmexTravel.com, you’ll find 2 different luxury hotel programs: Fine Hotels + Resorts and The Hotel Collection. The Hotel Collection (THC) requires a minimum stay of 2 nights, and this is the program with the current special offers.

Standard benefits on The Hotel Collection reservations include the following:

• $100 property credit to spend on qualifying dining, spa, and resort activities
• Room upgrade at check-in, if available
• Early check-in at noon and late checkout, if available

Extra Benefits for Cardholders in The Hotel Collection

A spokesperson for American Express says over 250 hotels currently have offers available through July 15, 2026. Right now, we’re seeing promotional deals for a free additional night, discounts on nightly room rates, or increased property credits.

Here’s how you can find these special offers: After logging in at AmexTravel.com, click on “Offers & Inspiration” in the top menu, then choose “Luxury Hotel Offers” on the menu that pops up. Let’s start with the discounts. You can save 15% at the Ace Hotel Kyoto in Japan, dropping the rate from $310 to $254.

Meanwhile, you can save 30% on suites at The Morrow Washington, D.C., dropping the price from $466 to $326.

Meanwhile, the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London has an enhanced $150 spending credit to use during your stay.

The most exciting offers, though, are the free nights. While we’re seeing some rare offers for a fifth night free on your stay, promotions for a third or fourth night at no charge are more common.
