One of the most anticipated hotel openings of 2026 — especially for World of Hyatt fans — is accepting reservations for 2027, even as it plans to open in late 2026.

The Andaz Turks & Caicos at Grace Bay has been on travelers’ radar for a while and now Hyatt has opened reservations for guests as of June 2027, though a spokesperson says the property still plans to open in late 2026.

As with any new Caribbean luxury resort, delays are always possible, which is why there’s a buffer time between the expected opening date (late 2026) and the date guests can now make reservations (mid-2027) at the Andaz Turks & Caicos.

Here’s what we know.

What We Know About the Andaz Turks & Caicos

We now have a clearer opening timeline for the Andaz Turks & Caicos at Grace Bay. Hyatt has indicated that the Andaz Turks & Caicos at Grace Bay will open in October 2026. However, the resort is only accepting reservations and award bookings beginning in June 2027.

Set on world-famous Grace Bay Beach, the Andaz Turks & Caicos is expected to bring a much-needed luxury points possibility to the destination. The resort will feature 132 accommodations, including 59 hotel rooms and 73 branded residences, all designed with a strong indoor-outdoor flow, with private terraces and open layouts that lean into natural light and ocean views.

Amenities are expected to include multiple dining venues, including a beachfront restaurant, pool bar, and sunset lobby bar, along with a full-service spa, kids club, and a range of water activities like paddleboarding and snorkeling directly off the beach.

Like other Andaz properties, the hotel will lean into a lifestyle-driven experience, with a focus on local culture, wellness, and relaxed luxury rather than over-the-top design.

Full details are still limited, but this is shaping up to be one of the more notable Hyatt openings in the Caribbean in recent years — especially given the lack of strong points hotels in Turks and Caicos.

Hot Tip:

The Category 8 Andaz Turks & Caicos is now bookable through the World of Hyatt program. Award nights start at 55,000 points, making this one of the most expensive Hyatt redemptions in the world — but potentially one of the most valuable given Turks & Caicos’ notoriously high hotel rates.

Final Thoughts

The Andaz Turks & Caicos at Grace Bay has been a long time coming, and travelers can finally make reservations. With reservations now available for stays starting in June 2027, World of Hyatt members can also begin locking in award nights from 55,000 points per night. That timeline shows a significant gap between what you can book and when the property plans to open, which means any delays won’t affect confirmed reservations.

For points and miles travelers, this is excellent news. Turks and Caicos has remained one of the tougher Caribbean destinations to book on points — and this property now becomes one of the most in-demand World of Hyatt redemptions in the region.
