Avelo Adds 4 New Southeastern Destinations From Tweed-New Haven

Avelo continues to expand its route network, announcing 4 new nonstop routes from Tweed-New Haven Regional Airport (HVN) in Connecticut.

The new destinations are in the southeastern part of the U.S. and include Atlanta (ATL), Charlotte-Concord (JQF), Knoxville (TYS), and Destin, Florida (VPS).

With these additional flights, Avelo will now service 21 nonstop destinations from Tweed-New Haven (HVN) — more than any other airline in Connecticut.

Avelo Airlines’ Newest Routes From Tweed-New Haven

When the routes go live, Avelo will be the sole airline providing nonstop service from Tweed-New Haven to each of the new cities.

Here are more details on the start dates and frequencies on these New Haven routes:

• Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL): Begins May 2, operates on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays
• Charlotte’s Concord-Padgett Regional Airport (JQF): Begins May 2, operates on Thursdays and Sundays
• Knoxville’s McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS): Begins May 9, operates on Thursdays and Sundays
• Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS): Begins May 17, operates on Thursdays and Sundays

At the time of writing, it only appears to be possible to search for availability and book tickets directly through the Avelo website.

Flights will be operated using the airline’s fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft, all of which have economy seats configured in a 3-3 arrangement.
