Fancy swapping winter for summer this coming January? Well, we’ve got just the redemption for you.

We’ve found availability on American Airlines’ nonstop service from Los Angeles (LAX) to Auckland (AKL) in business class from just 60k AAdvantage miles.

Here are all the details you need to book your trip Down Under this winter.

Award Deal — Details

Auckland (AKL) is the biggest and most important international airport in New Zealand, acting as a gateway to exploring the country.

After a few days exploring the city, you could rent an RV or hop on a domestic flight using points or cash and head off to discover the beauty New Zealand has to offer.

  • Class: Business
  • Route: Los Angeles (LAX) to Auckland (AKL)
  • Flight Number: AA83
  • Cost: 60,000 AAdvantage Miles + $42.80
  • Outbound Dates: January 4, 6, 7, 11, 21, and 28

American’s seasonal, transpacific route connecting Los Angeles and Auckland will start on December 20, 2023, and run through March 1, 2024.

It will be operated by the airline’s fleet of Boeing 787-9 aircraft which feature 30 lie-flat Flagship Business seats.
