There are 3 new nonstop flights to Bermuda launching this spring.

Startup Bermudair will roll out services between its base at Hamilton, Bermuda (BDA) and Montréal (YUL), Providence, Rhode Island (PVD), and Richmond, Virginia (RIC), with routes launching as early as May 22.

Here are the details.

Bermudair Expands Its North American Route Network

After launching operations in September 2023, Bermudair has committed to creating more connectivity between the popular vacation destination and the U.S.

The latest new services to Montréal, Providence, and Richmond will take to the skies in May and June.

Not only are these routes new to the airline, Bermudair will become the only airline to connect Montréal, Richmond, and Providence to Bermuda.

“By adding direct service to these key cities, we’re not only making travel more accessible and convenient, but we’re also positioning Bermudair to serve our customers with even greater convenience, reliability and flexibility,” said Adam Scott, founder and CEO of Bermudair.

The new routes will expand Bermudair’s North American network to a total of 13 destinations.

All Bermudair flights are operated by the airline’s small fleet of just 10 aircraft — entirely composed of Embraer E175 and E190 narrow-body jets. The addition of 2 additional E190s joining the fleet this spring will enable Bermudair to add these new routes.

These latest routes to be announced will join new nonstop services to Charleston, South Carolina (CHS), Hartford, Connecticut (BDL), and Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina (RDU), which are scheduled to launch in April.

Booking Bermudair’s New Routes

Tickets on the new routes are available to purchase on Bermudair’s website.

The cheapest one-way fares we’re seeing to Bermuda start at $189 from Richmond. From Providence, you’re looking at around $259.

Hot Tip:

When booking flights with Bermudair, we recommend using a travel rewards card such as The Platinum Card® from American Express. For example, by using this card to book directly with the airline (or with AmexTravel.com), you’d earn 5x points per $1 spent, available on up to $500,000 of these purchases annually, then 1x earnings.

Final Thoughts

It’s always exciting news when airlines launch new routes. However, it’s even more noteworthy when the routes connect cities that previously lacked nonstop service.

We look forward to following Bermudair’s journey and hope to hear of more U.S.-bound routes soon.
