BermudAir, Bermuda’s flag carrier, is growing its network in the U.S. Northeast with nonstop flights connecting the island to 2 major airports in the New York City area.

These new routes aim to give leisure and corporate travelers more flexibility while providing convenient access to Bermuda.

New York-Area Routes and Seasonal Service

Starting the week of October 26, 2025, BermudAir will link St. George’s, Bermuda, with New York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA) and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) in New Jersey.

Flights on both routes will operate twice weekly. Newark service is scheduled for Thursdays and Sundays, while LaGuardia flights will depart on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Looking ahead, BermudAir will launch seasonal service from Newark to the island of Anguilla via its new subsidiary, AnguillAir, beginning December 18. This service will also operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays. The airline has not announced an end date for the Newark-Anguilla route.

“Expanding our New York-area service is a significant step forward for BermudAir, providing both leisure and corporate travellers with more flexibility and convenient access to Bermuda,” said Adam Scott, BermudAir’s CEO and founder. “The Newark–Anguilla flights create an exciting opportunity for us to serve a vibrant and diverse travel market that values high-quality island experiences. It allows us to respond to strong demand for easy, reliable access to Caribbean destinations.”

Each route will be operated using BermudAir’s Embraer 175 aircraft, with tickets now available on the airline’s website starting at $129 one-way.

BermudAir is based at L.F. Wade International Airport (BDA) in St. George’s and currently serves 10 U.S. airports across the eastern U.S. and Canada, including Boston (BOS), Montreal (YUL), Toronto (YYZ), Orlando (MCO), and Charleston, South Carolina (CHS), among others.

BermudAir also serves Anguilla in the Caribbean, flying from Newark. Starting in December, service to Anguilla’s The Valley (AXA) airport should get flights from Baltimore (BWI) and Boston.

Hot Tip:

If you’re planning a quick Caribbean getaway, booking BermudAir’s new New York–Bermuda flights can save time and connect you conveniently to Anguilla via AnguillAir later in the season.

Final Thoughts

With these new flights, BermudAir is making it even easier for travelers in the Northeast U.S. to reach Bermuda and the Caribbean. These new routes land just before New Yorkers swap the winter chill for a sunny island escape.

Whether you’re headed there for work or vacation, the expanded schedule offers more options, greater flexibility, and a simple way to experience these beautiful island destinations.
