Where To Dine with the Amex Resy Credit

Cardholders can use their Resy credit by simply paying their restaurant bill with their enrolled Amex Gold card at any restaurant featured on the Resy platform.

So, even though it’s a good idea to make your restaurant reservations through Resy, the Resy statement credit kicks in at any restaurant affiliated with Resy, whether you have a reservation or not.

1. Le Bernardin, New York City, New York

The first restaurant on our list probably doesn’t require an introduction, but I’ll provide one anyway. For nearly 2 decades, Midtown Manhattan’s Le Bernardin has topped New York’s Michelin Guide with a perfect 3 stars, headed by chef Eric Ripert.

While a meal will cost you a small fortune, you can visit during lunch (though you still need to make reservations well in advance), and the up to $50 semiannual Resy credit covers a good portion of your prix fixe, 3-course, $130 lunch.

2. Kismet, Los Angeles, California

The menu at Kismet is diverse, reflecting the city’s multicultural influences. The cuisine features Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors, including kebabs, falafel, salads, and dips.

This James Beard-nominated restaurant in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles offers main dishes starting at $24, making it a great place to use your Resy credit.

3. Los Félix, Miami, Florida

Los Félix is a colorful Mexican restaurant in the popular Coconut Grove neighborhood that serves dinner Tuesday through Sunday (it’s closed on Monday) and brunch on Sundays. The restaurant specializes in authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. It is known for its lively ambiance and serves various cuisines, such as tacos and ceviches, as well as handcrafted cocktails.

You could go for brunch, and your up to $50 Resy credit would be plenty to pay for a few dishes to share for the table, such as al pastor tacos, sweet corn arepas, and chilaquiles.

4. Dakar Nola, New Orleans, Louisiana

Dakar Nola is a prominent New Orleans restaurant on Magazine Street focusing on West African food, notably Senegalese flavors. The prices are pretty reasonable. Appetizers usually cost between $10 and $15, and main courses range between $20 and $35. They also have a nice variety of drinks and desserts available at different price points.

For less than $50, you can order the yassa ($25) with chicken or fish, a tasty dish marinated in citrus and spices, and jollof rice ($20), a West African dish served with grilled meats or vegetables.

5. Este, Austin, Texas

Este is one of Austin’s best restaurants for modern Mexican cuisine. Chef Fermin and his staff produce a seasonally inspired cuisine that combines traditional Mexican cooking skills with local Texas ingredients to offer a unique and engaging dining experience in East Austin. Tacos, enchiladas, ceviches, and seasonal specials are all on the menu.

While you can dine here and use your up to $50 Resy credit to get a couple of appetizers, larger entrees start at $38. In either case, you can subtract $50 from your bill at Este when you pay with your Amex Gold card.

6. Obelix, Chicago, Illinois

Obelix in Chicago is a beautiful River North restaurant serving French cuisine with a modern touch. It is known for its cozy atmosphere and beautiful decor, and its menu features seasonal ingredients as well as classic French dishes. Expect tartines, seasonal salads, and meticulously prepared desserts.

You can expect traditional French delicacies like cote de boeuf and 10-day dry-aged duck breast, as well as variations on classic French dishes like seared scallops with squash, cauliflower, Honeycrisp apples, and curry-squash foam.

7. Copra, San Francisco, California

The menu includes a range of seafood items, such as raw oysters, fried shrimp, and fish sandwiches, as well as Southern favorites like fried chicken.

The relaxed atmosphere, along with a gorgeous outdoor terrace, makes it ideal for sharing a lunch with friends and family. If you’re visiting Charleston, there may not be a better restaurant to use your up to $50 Resy statement credit than Leon’s.

9. Pagu, Cambridge, Massachusetts

Pagu’s journey began with Tracy Chang being inspired by her Taiwanese grandmother, who opened one of Boston’s notable Japanese restaurants back in the 1980s. Today, Pagu offers an eclectic menu of dishes stemming from a fusion of Japanese and Spanish cuisine, including ramen, tapas, and inventive sushi rolls.

The restaurant highlights fresh, high-quality ingredients and provides both small plates and larger entrees.

10. Ladder 4 Wine Bar, Detroit, Michigan

Ladder 4 Wine Bar in the Milwaukee Junction neighborhood of Detroit is a welcoming establishment that serves a diverse selection of wines from across the world. The casual and relaxing ambiance makes it an ideal spot for wine aficionados to enjoy a glass with friends.

In a charming renovated firehouse, this hidden gem was created by brothers James and Patrick Cadariu and strengthened by the fantastic contributions of chef John Yelinek and his wife, Charlotte Gale. Yelinek’s menu showcases fresh produce from Gale’s on-site garden, offering dishes that reflect Midwestern influences.

A bottle of wine costs $70 on average here, so you can share a bottle with friends, get light snacks like marinated olives with chile and citrus and grilled pink lady oysters with ‘nduja butter, and enjoy a relaxing evening out while saving up to $50 from your Resy statement credit.
