Thanks to recent operational changes, Virgin Atlantic will be sending its most modern aircraft — the Airbus A330-900neo — to more cities in the U.S., which is great news for flyers across the country.

This aircraft boasts the airline’s most spacious and comfortable business-class seats, including the splurge-worthy Retreat Suite.

Let’s take a look at where this state-of-the-art aircraft will be heading and all of the other details you need to know.

Where You Can Fly Virgin Atlantic’s Best Business Class

Virgin Atlantic has recently debuted the newest member of its fleet on flights between the U.K. and several new U.S. markets, including Atlanta (ATL), Boston (BOS), Orlando (MCO), and Washington, D.C. (IAD).

Typically, airlines make fairly significant changes to their schedules between the summer and winter seasons to account for changes in flight demand. One such change is the rotation of different aircraft onto different routes — this is exactly what’s happening at Virgin Atlantic that will result in more U.S. cities receiving its freshest aircraft.

Until March 25, 2025, these are the U.S. routes where Virgin will deploy its A330-900s:

Note that while this is the published schedule for the A330-900neo, the aviation industry is notorious for last-minute aircraft changes, so selecting a flight because of this aircraft doesn’t guarantee you’ll be flying it.

While we’re talking about Virgin Atlantic business class, it’s a great time to remind you of the changes coming to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club redemptions from October 30, 2024.

So, why is this aircraft’s business class so much better?

The -900neo variant of the Airbus A330 features Virgin’s most spacious and private Upper Class suites, complete with a sliding door. It’s a noticeable step up from the Upper Class product on the Airbus A350 and an entirely different league than the product found on the airline’s Boeing 787 Dreamliners.

The icing on the cake is the Retreat Suite (available to book for an extra charge), which is located in the middle of the first rows at the front of the cabin.

This exclusive space is designed for the ultimate luxury experience. Two travel companions can invite 2 others to dine together as a group of 4.

Hot Tip:

Flying Virgin’s swish Upper Class across the Atlantic to the U.K. and beyond doesn’t have to break the bank thanks to the many ways you can earn Virgin Atlantic Flying Club Points.

Final Thoughts

With the Airbus A330-900 now scheduled to operate on 8 routes between the U.S. and the U.K. this winter, there’s more opportunity than ever before to fly Virgin’s best Upper Class product across the Atlantic.
