Blacklane, the popular premium chauffeur company, is rolling out pilot luxury tours in London and Paris this summer.

Skip the tour buses and enjoy a comfortable ride with your own private driver on a 4-hour tour of the city. With options for electric cars, luxury vehicles, or vans for larger groups, this could be a great option for those looking to get to know a new city.

Blacklane Chauffeured City Tours

Blacklane announced that it will begin a pilot program to expand its global chauffeur service into the tour guide industry, with London and Paris being the first 2 cities to offer the luxury experience.

Previously, Blacklane only offered point-to-point service and charged by the hour. This new program will allow travelers to book a fixed-price tour with a private driver that will be tailored to you and your party.

Throughout the 4-hour tours, passengers will have the opportunity to stop for photos at famous landmarks, request extra stops, and even add on airport transfers to make the most of their time in the city.

Many of our guests around the world ask their Blacklane chauffeur partner to help them see the best of a city, however we did not have a dedicated service option that matched this demand. We’re rolling out test routes in London and Paris that give a great taste of a destination, for those visiting on business or leisure. Our chauffeur partners have a passion for their home cities that is infectious. In fact, we’re so thrilled with the demand and exceptional guest feedback during this early testing phase that we’re already exploring more new sightseeing by-the-hour services in further cities.

On the London tour, passengers can enjoy a peaceful tour and visit 3 major landmarks: Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge, and the London Eye.

The Paris tour lets passengers hop out and take photos at the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and the Louvre.

With a first-class chauffeur and high-spec vehicles available 24 hours a day, this is a great option for travelers with busy schedules who don’t want to deal with large tour operators.

Pricing and Vehicle Options

Blacklane chauffeurs are available in a variety of high-end cars and categories, including:

Business class: Mercedes E-Class, BMW 5 Series, Audi A6, or similar
Electric class: Mercedes EQE or similar
Business van: Mercedes V-Class or similar
First class: Mercedes S-Class, BMW 7 Series, or similar

Prices start at £300 ($400) in London and €300 ($350) in Paris, and these include VAT, fees, and tolls.
