Chase just quietly rolled out a new way for Sapphire and Freedom cardholders to rack up extra Ultimate Rewards points online.

If you check out using Paze, a digital wallet backed by several major banks, you can now earn an additional 10x on purchases at participating merchants through the end of 2026. That means some purchases could effectively earn up to 15x total points, depending on which Chase card you use.

Here’s what you need to know about the new Chase and Paze promotion, including which cards qualify and where you can actually use it.

Chase Offers 10x Bonus Points on Paze Purchases

Chase is now offering Sapphire and Freedom cardholders an extra 10 Ultimate Rewards points per $1 when checking out with Paze at participating online merchants through December 31, 2026.

Paze is an online digital wallet backed by major banks, including Chase, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and Capital One. It works similarly to PayPal or Apple Pay and is currently accepted by merchants such as United Airlines, Newegg, Dunkin’, and Domino’s.

Eligible cards include the Chase Freedom Flex℠, Chase Freedom Unlimited^®, Chase Sapphire Preferred^® Card, and Chase Sapphire Reserve^®.

The best part? The 10x bonus stacks on top of your card’s normal earning rates. For example, if you use the Chase Sapphire Reserve card to book a United Airlines flight through Paze, you’d earn the card’s usual 4x points on flights booked directly with airlines plus the extra 10x bonus points from this offer — for a total of 14 points per $1.

Some purchases could earn even more. If a Freedom Flex card’s rotating 5x bonus category overlaps with a participating Paze merchant, you could earn a massive 15x total points on that purchase. The promotion is capped at $1,500 in purchases per month, meaning you can earn up to 15,000 bonus Ultimate Rewards points monthly, for a total of 22,500 points for that $1,500 in purchases in a rotating bonus category.

Hot Tip:

The $1,500 spending cap resets each month, so spreading larger purchases across multiple months could help you maximize the full 15,000 bonus points available every month.

This is one of the stronger limited-time Chase promotions we’ve seen recently, especially because it works across both Sapphire and Freedom cards. While Paze still isn’t nearly as widely accepted as PayPal or Apple Pay, earning an extra 10x points is a compelling reason to try it at participating merchants.

And for Freedom Flex cardholders, there’s even some real potential for wildly generous returns of up to 15 points per $1 if rotating bonus categories overlap with eligible Paze purchases.
