Chase Sapphire Lounges are experiencing an impressive expansion, and the growing demand for them has led to the opening of a new location at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL).

The Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) spans 20,000 square feet and promises to enhance the Philly experience with its beer garden, local art, game room, and food curated by Middle Child Clubhouse, a well-known Philadelphia restaurant.

Let’s jump into the details of this new lounge location.

The New Chase Sapphire Lounge Debuts in Philadelphia

The Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) opened on February 20, 2025. It’s located after security in the connector between Terminals D and E. The lounge is open daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. A same-day departure ticket is necessary, and access is limited to 3 hours before departure.

Guests can expect an impressive amount of amenities, including a beer garden with a large selection of local craft beers on tap. The menu is equally unique, showcasing Philadelphia-inspired offerings such as cheesesteak sliders and potato pancakes.

As with all Chase Sapphire Lounges, the food and beverages are top-notch. Middle Child Clubhouse, a restaurant recognized for innovative culinary interpretations of old-school Philadelphia sandwiches and dishes, produces specially curated dishes to suit guests’ tastebuds.

Visitors can enjoy locally roasted coffee from Philadelphia’s Elixr Coffee, soft drinks, creative cocktails, and Parcelle’s carefully curated wines.

The lounge also features a game room with a variety of retro arcade machines, wellness amenities like bookable private rest pods, and a family room with a play area for children.

How To Access Chase Lounges

Complimentary access to Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club lounges is available for primary cardholders and authorized users of the Chase Sapphire Reserve®, J.P. Morgan Reserve Card, and The Ritz-Carlton™ Credit Card (no longer available to new applicants) via their Priority Pass Select membership.

Cardmembers can bring a maximum of 2 guests during each visit without incurring any extra fees. Additional guests cost $27 per person per visit, and children under 2 are free. However, Ritz-Carlton cardmembers can bring unlimited guests without the extra fees.

If you have a Priority Pass membership from one of the many other travel credit cards that provide one, you can access the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club lounges, but you will only receive 1 complimentary visit per year. Any additional visits are charged at $75 per visit.

Hot Tip:

If you’re looking to enjoy a Chase Sapphire Lounge without a Priority Pass membership, you can simply pay $100 for each visit. With numerous credit cards offering Priority Pass membership, you’re likely better off having one of these in your wallet, rather than shelling out for a day pass.

Final Thoughts

Chase has made tremendous progress in less than 2 years, opening 7 lounges in popular airports in the U.S. and Hong Kong, with plans to open 2 more locations soon in Las Vegas (LAS) and Los Angeles (LAX).

The Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is the latest addition to the Chase Sapphire Lounge network. This new lounge elevates the lounge experience at Philadelphia International Airport, offering a premium experience for travelers departing from or transiting through the city.
