Jarrod first became fascinated with the world of points and miles as the perfect way to visit dream destinations without breaking the bank. On his first major award trip, he spent 3 months traveling through Europe, financed nearly entirely with points; while flying in premium cabins and staying in 5-star hotels along the way.

Now, he is on a mission to help others realize their travel goals and upgrade their travel experiences. Jarrod has been writing about credit cards and travel loyalty programs for 4 years, and his work has been featured by Travel and Leisure, Matador Network, Yahoo Finance, and U.S. News.

He also runs his own travel blog, the Freequent Flyer Blog, where he provides credit card consultations to those who are new to the world of travel rewards.

An active participant in the points and miles community, Jarrod regularly attends conferences to share ideas with fellow travelers. So if you see him at conferences like TravelCon, CardCon, or Frequent Traveler University, be sure to stop and say hello!

As a Northern Kentucky native, Jarrod earned his B.S. in Economics from Northern Kentucky University, but now calls New York City home. He also has a passion for Digital Assets and publishes a newsletter covering innovations in the space. Outside of work, he loves trying new restaurants, reading, and cheering on Liverpool F.C.
