Update:

The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

Right now, Delta is offering a flash sale on SkyMiles award tickets from across the U.S. to destinations in the Caribbean and Latin America.

You’ll be able to take advantage of the sale prices if you book by June 19, 2025, and eligible travel dates span throughout the late summer and fall, though precise travel windows vary by route.

Here’s what you need to know.

Delta SkyMiles Flash Sale — The Details

Delta‘s latest flash sale is valid for basic economy and Main Cabin tickets on a slew of routes between the U.S. and the Caribbean and Latin America, starting at just 10,000 SkyMiles round-trip in basic economy. However, you can get these flights even cheaper — for just 8,500 miles — if you hold a Delta co-branded credit card!

Here’s a look at the details:

  • Class: Basic economy and Main Cabin
  • Routes: U.S. cities to the Caribbean and Latin America
  • Cost: From 10,000 miles (8,500 miles if you have a Delta co-branded credit card) plus taxes and fees
  • Travel dates: Late summer and fall 2025

How To Book

Booking these flights is straightforward. Head to the promotion’s landing page and search with your preferred origin and destination. You can also switch to the calendar-view option, which will show you when prices are cheapest throughout a given month.

From there, pick the dates that work best for you, and you can book with SkyMiles. If you search without logging in to your SkyMiles account, you’ll see prices that do not reflect the 15% cardholder discount (if you’re eligible for it).

However, if you have a Delta co-branded card and are logged in to your account, you’ll see the 15% discount reflected in your searches, which brings prices down to as few as 8,500 SkyMiles round-trip on flights between Los Angeles (LAX) and Puerto Vallarta (PVR).

Remember, too, that if you need more SkyMiles, you can transfer American Express Membership Rewards points at a 1:1 ratio, and transfers are typically instant. We don’t typically recommend transferring points to Delta — since the program can charge astronomical rates for award seats — but with rates this low, it could make sense if you don’t already have enough miles in your account.

Hot Tip:

Delta Amex cardholders can get 15% off award prices when redeeming Delta SkyMiles for Delta flights. It’s a quality benefit you can use as many times as you wish.

Final Thoughts

Delta is offering great rates on its flights between the U.S. and the Caribbean and Latin America. If a vacation to a sunny destination is something you’ve been craving, don’t hesitate to jump on this deal. You only have until tomorrow, June 19, to take advantage!
