Your Alaska Atmos points just got even more useful, as you now have the ability to use your points to fly between the U.S. and Manila on Philippine Airlines — and do so in business class starting at 75,000 points.

Better yet, we’re seeing wide open availability across a variety of dates and cities.

Here’s a full look at the details.

Philippine Airlines Award Alert — The Details

Previously, booking award flights to the Philippines could be difficult and expensive. Now, your Alaska Airlines Atmos Rewards points allow you to get there for a reasonable price and in style.

We are seeing availability from several West Coast cities. Here’s how much it will cost and how you can book:

  • Airline: Philippine Airlines
  • Award program: Alaska Airlines Atmos Rewards
  • Class: Business
  • Route: Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO), Seattle (SEA), and Vancouver (YVR) to Manila
  • Cost: As few as 75,000 points plus $25 in taxes
  • Travel dates: July through July 2027
  • Award seats: Up to 8 passengers per route

This availability was located using the award search tool Roame, which we highly recommend. It allows you to view you see multiple months of availability and multiple programs at once, which makes it easier to select which days work best for your schedule.

Flights from San Fransico, Seattle, and Vancouver start at just 75,000 points per direction, with up to 8 seats available on some dates.

For flights from Los Angeles, you’ll have to pay a bit more at 85,000 points, but this pricing is still competitive.

Previously, one of the best ways to book Philippine Airlines flights in business class was using Qatar Airways Privilege Club, but this would set you back 110,000 points and roughly $200 in taxes and fees.

Hot Tip:

If you’re traveling with a group, jump on this deal quickly, as finding up to 8 business class award seats on the same flight to Asia is exceedingly rare.

How To Book

To book these flights, you’ll need a stash of Atmos Rewards points or a way to get them quickly.

You can transfer Bilt Rewards to Atmos Rewards at a 1:1 rate or from Marriott Bonvoy at a 3:1 rate. You can also earn Atmos Rewards points through an Alaska Airlines credit card, shopping through the Atmos Rewards Shopping portal, dining at restaurants that participate in Atmos Rewards Dining, or flying with Alaska’s Oneworld partners.

Final Thoughts

If you want to visit the Philippines, and you’ve got a large stash of Alaska points, you’re in luck. Not only can you now use your Atmos Rewards points to book flights on Philippine Airlines, but you’ll also get far better pricing than you would booking through other programs.

Better yet, there is wide open availability between multiple West Coast cities and Manila through July of 2027. We don’t know how long this availability will last, so book soon and figure out the other details later if you’re interested.
