About Ehsan Haque

Ehsan is an avid traveler who has traveled to 100 countries over more than 1,250 days backpacking the world.

He has diligently used points and miles to fund his journeys, having discovered their value in 2016 and since opening over 50 credit cards. Currently, he holds 32 active credit cards and earns over a million points and miles annually through various strategies, including online arbitrage, gift card reselling, and credit card referrals.

Points and miles have allowed Ehsan to experience some of the world’s best international first class products and luxury hotels. He spends half the year outside of the U.S. and holds Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite, World of Hyatt Globalist, and Hilton Honors Diamond elite status.

Ehsan worked as a Points and Miles Reporter for The Points Guy and embarked on a 1-year travel hiatus before his 30th birthday to reach his goal of visiting 100 countries. His top 5 favorite countries he’s visited include Japan, Georgia, Cuba, Argentina, and Uzbekistan.

Based in the Chicago area, Ehsan primarily uses his points and miles for luxury hotels and long-haul premium cabins nowadays. He plans to visit every country by the year 2030. You can follow his travel photography and adventures on Instagram.
