Rather than creating separate alerts for every possible airport combination, users can combine multiple geographic areas into a single alert.

The feature continuously monitors award availability in real time across the selected locations. Travelers can mix and match origins and destinations, including individual airports, major airport groups, broader regions, U.S. regions, countries, and even entire continents.

For example, someone based in California who wants to travel to Europe could create an alert that monitors award flights from major California airports to destinations throughout Europe. This would allow travelers to monitor a much broader range of travel options through a single alert.

The tool allows members to narrow down alerts with additional preferences, including travel themes, bank programs, airline programs, number of stops, number of seats, maximum flight duration, and maximum taxes you want to pay.

The new feature is available to all travelers with a PointsYeah account, though the number of alerts and geographic selections depend on whether it’s a free account or a paid Premium membership. A Premium membership costs $19.99 per month or $119.95 annually.

Free users can create up to 5 alerts. Each alert allows for 1 origin and destination selection, with a travel date window of up to 30 days.

Premium members receive considerably more flexibility. They can create up to 150 alerts, with up to 3 origin and 3 destination selections per alert, and receive a longer search window of up to 90 days.
