Iberia has launched a massive fall promo, and travelers can fly between Spain and various cities within the United States starting at $219 each way.

The Spanish airline’s nonstop flights to the U.S. cover multiple destinations, and prices vary from city to city. You have 3 weeks to book during this sale, though it’s worth pointing out that the cheapest seats may disappear if you wait too long.

Deal Alert — Details

Iberia serves numerous destinations in the U.S., and it’s put all of them on sale. Prices depend on your specific route, but economy seats are available from $219 one-way across the ocean.

  • Class: Economy
  • Routes: Boston (BOS), Chicago (ORD), Dallas (DFW), Los Angeles (LAX), Miami (MIA), New York City (JFK), Orlando (MCO), San Francisco (SFO), and Washington Dulles (IAD) to Madrid (MAD) and Barcelona (BCN)
  • Dates: September 2025 to August 2026
  • Price: From $219 one-way
  • Booking deadline: September 22, 2025

The Spanish airline’s nonstop flights to JFK start at €187 ($219), ORD and IAD at €190 ($223), BOS and SFO at €195 ($228), MIA at €205 ($240), MCO at €240 ($281), LAX at €245 ($287), and DFW at €264 ($309) each way.

You can also fly on Iberia between cities in Spain starting at €21 ($24) and around Europe to/from Spain starting at €25 ($29). There are also deals for flying between Spain and Latin America starting at €207 ($242) and €350 ($409).

The purchase period is through September 22, 2025, and rates are valid on flights through August 31, 2026. However, there are several blackout dates and conditions, and prices do change based on departure airport and destination. The best thing to do is to stay flexible with days and search to see when you can find the best deal.

Unfortunately, you won’t find the lowest prices on Google Flights, so searching Iberia’s website is the only way to find the cheapest tickets in this sale.

When researching the deals, I found some rates even cheaper than the advertised promotional rates — starting at €132 ($154) — though these are basic economy tickets that don’t include checked bags.

Some rates were also significantly higher than the promoted deals, which is why checking the blackout dates and staying flexible are key to getting the best Iberia deals during this sale. Remember, “starting at” means prices start there and and go up as seats sell out. If you see a deal, book it ASAP before you lose it.

Best Ways To Book

Purchasing Iberia tickets using the Iberia Visa Signature® Card will earn 3 Avios per $1 spent. Alternatively, you could use a card like the Chase Sapphire Reserve®, which you can earn 4x points per dollar spent for booking directly via the airline. Another option is The Platinum Card® from American Express, which earns 5x points on flights booked through AmexTravel.com or directly with airlines — up to $500,000 of these purchases annually, then 1x points.

Chase Ultimate Rewards and Amex Membership Rewards points transfer to the Iberia program (as well as numerous other airline partners) at a 1:1 ratio, so if you’re a loyal Iberia flyer who wants to earn Iberia Avios, spending on these cards is a solid choice.

Hot Tip:

Iberia has recently increased its award prices, though one price has dropped: basic economy tickets between Spain and the U.S. Rates start at just 16,000 Avios each way, but they don’t include a checked bag or seat selection.

Final Thoughts

Iberia is offering some decent sale prices, but it does take some digging to find them — especially on the dates you might want to fly. But if you’re flexible with when you travel, you can find an extremely cheap deal in either direction between the U.S. and Spain.

If you already have a trip to Spain booked and want to add additional cities to it — like Málaga or Valencia — or want to visit European destinations like Lisbon and Paris, you can do so with this sale. If you uncover a great deal, snap it up soon, because this sale only lasts until September 22, and we fully expect the cheapest tickets to disappear well before that date.
