The magic of a trip to Disneyland in Anaheim, California, doesn’t have to end just because the park has closed for the day. Thanks to Disneyland After Dark, a series of events that take place after hours and features themed food and entertainment, you can visit Disneyland long after the general crowds go home. Disneyland After Dark is a separately ticketed event only available on select nights through June 2024.

Here’s everything you need to know about Disneyland After Dark.

Disneyland After Dark Theme Nights and Dates

Tickets are now on sale for Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite, with ticket details expected soon for Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite. Disneyland After Dark: Disney Channel Nite and Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts’ Nite have already taken place for 2024 but will return next year.

At the themed events, you can look forward to smaller crowds than you’d expect at Disneyland during the day. Admission includes entrance to a specific park as early as 6 p.m., which presents an opportunity to enjoy the park with shorter lines to attractions. Disneyland After Dark also includes unlimited Disney PhotoPass downloads from the party!

Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite

Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite will include Star Wars character sightings, themed menu selections, and entertainment, including a lightsaber instructional and a march down Main Street, U.S.A., for those dressed in costume. The park will also sell special Star Wars-themed merchandise on those nights.

Star Wars Nite will take place between 9 p.m. and 1 a.m. on April 16, 18, 23, 25, and 30; and May 2, 7, and 9, 2024. Admission includes entrance to Disneyland Park as early as 6 p.m. on the night of the event, and prices start at $159. You will not be required to make a park reservation if you have an event ticket. Parking is not included in the ticket price, and children under 3 years old do not need a ticket.

How To Buy Tickets to Disneyland After Dark

Tickets to Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite are now available for purchase. Tickets are limited, only valid for the specific event date and hours, and nonrefundable. Tickets must be purchased online and are limited to 8 tickets per person. Your ticket to Disneyland After Dark is not a general admission ticket to Disneyland or Disney’s California Adventure Park.

Final Thoughts

Disneyland After Dark is a fun way to experience Disney within a niche group of attendees and far fewer crowds. The next nite is Star Wars-themed with several dates in April and May. Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite tickets aren’t on sale yet, but will be available soon. Be on the lookout for tickets to the Oogie Boogie Bash sometime in June.
