Tickets to the 2 Disney parks in southern California became more expensive today. This sad (yet predictable) turn of events means you could pay as much as $12 more per day when buying tickets to Disneyland Park or Disneyland California Adventure Park.

While nearly all tickets, annual passes, and Lightning Lane purchases became more expensive, the silver lining is that the cheapest tickets didn’t go up in price. That may not provide much comfort to those who travel during busy periods, however.

Here’s the latest on the annual tradition of Disney increasing the cost of park tickets.

Increased Ticket Prices and Add-On Costs at Disneyland and California Adventure

There are 2 Disney parks in Anaheim, California: Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, commonly known as California Adventure. Tickets for both are sold on the Disneyland website. And tickets for both follow the same pricing structure — including the price increases today.

Disneyland and California Adventure offer single-day, multi-day, and annual pass tickets, depending on what you’re looking for. The prices for nearly all of these and Lightning Lane passes to skip the line have increased today, as first reported by The Points Guy.

Single-Day Tickets

Disneyland tickets follow a tiered structure, through which you’ll pay more to visit on a popular Saturday than on a random weekday when kids are in school. These run from Tier 0 to Tier 6, using the following prices:

Hot Tip:

Disneyland offers a calendar view to help you find the cheapest dates for your tickets. That’s helpful for those with flexibility in their schedules. It’s also possible to save money at Disney using points and miles.

Multi-Day Tickets

If you’re looking for multi-day tickets to save on the per-day cost, unfortunately, the price for those has also gone up, with the following changes:

Park Hopper Add-On

If you’d like to visit both Disneyland and California Adventure parks on the same day, you need a Park Hopper ticket, which allows you to move between parks. Park Hopper tickets are also more expensive now, save for the cheapest option.

Note that these are add-on costs to the tickets mentioned above, and Park Hopper prices now follow this schedule:

Disneyland Annual Passes

Additionally, the cost for an annual pass, called Magic Key, has gone up. Magic Key passes come in 4 tiers, depending on the perks you want and the blackout limitations you want to remove from your pass.

You’ll now pay up to $125 more per person on these passes, priced as follows:

Lightning Lane Price Increases

Lightning Lane, previously known as Fast Pass and Genie+, is an add-on that lets you skip the standard line and shortcut your way to the front of the line for most rides at Disneyland. However, some of the most popular rides require buying an Individual Lightning Lane — a pass just for that attraction.

Unfortunately, the cost of Lightning Lane multi-use passes has gone up as well:

Final Thoughts

These increased prices are already in effect. Except for day-off Lightning Lane, 1-day Park Hopper, and Tier 0 single-day tickets, everything else is more expensive now. These prices apply to both Disneyland and California Adventure parks in Anaheim, California.

The latest price increases mirror October 2023 and October 2022 increases, meaning this is turning into another fall event to mark on your calendar.
