Finally, John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) has a lounge. I’m so excited to share this news because this is my home airport and I visit it quite often.
Here are all the exciting details about the first airport lounge in Columbus, Ohio.
Columbus’ First Airport Lounge Is Open
There’s a new lounge at John Glenn Columbus International Airport. The Escape Lounge – A Centurion Studio Partner has the honor of being this airport’s first lounge, something it has needed for years.
The neutral decor is inspired by the popular Columbus neighborhoods of German Village and Victorian Village. The amenities are designed to help travelers relax and recharge before their flight and include:
Charging ports at every seat
Complimentary food and beverages
Digital library with over 7,000 options
Kids’ activity packs
Premium high-speed Wi-Fi
Private workspaces
Separate dining area
The food and beverages were curated by Chef Colin Smith with help from local chef Avishar Barua who owns Joya in Worthington, Ohio, and has a new restaurant opening soon in the city’s trendy Brewery District. The seasonally-inspired menu includes items like apple raisin french toast, a creamy brie turkey baguette, and pumpkin spice cake.
Complimentary beverages include select spirits, wines, and beers. Premium liquors and cocktails are available for an extra charge.
Lounge Location and Hours
The Escape Lounge – The Centurion Studio Partner at CMH is located in Concourse B near gate 32. Since the Columbus airport is relatively small, the lounge is easy to access even if your flight is leaving from a different concourse.
The lounge is open daily from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Lounge Access
The Escape Lounge – The Centurion Studio Partner in Columbus is accessible to any passenger regardless of airline, status, or class of ticket for a walk-up fee of $45. Travelers can save $5 by prebooking at least 24 hours ahead of time.
