Update:The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

Paradise is right on the horizon! Right now, Tahiti’s within reach thanks to round-trip flights on low-cost carrier French Bee from just $555.

Here’s everything you need to know!

Fare Deal — Details

This is a deal so doable, you could be shaking the sand out of your shoes this weekend. Though availability spans to June of 2024, it won’t last long, especially at this price.

You can pay just $555 for a round-trip ticket on French Bee’s Airbus A350. You’ll need to pack light, as checking a bag is an extra fee. We also found flight options from Delta and Air France, though only the latter allows you to bring a bag for free.

However, this shouldn’t be much of an issue since you’ll want to soak up the sun and cool off in the crystal clear waters that make Tahiti a top location for bucket lists around the world. Here’s the bottom line:

  • Class: Economy, basic economy
  • Routes: San Francisco (SFO), Los Angeles (LAX) to Tahiti (PPT)
  • Dates: September 2023 to June 2024
  • Rates: From $555 round-trip

The lowest rates can be found on the route from San Francisco (SFO) to Tahiti (PPT) for a 5-day vacation:

It’s a little bit more to fly from Los Angeles (LAX) to Tahiti (PPT), but still a good deal:

Forgoing the luxury of first class will save you quite a bit, but it does mean you’ll want to pack your own slippers for these nearly 9-hour nonstop flights.

Best Ways To Book

You can (and should) book these flights directly with the airline, whether that’s through French Bee or Delta. This is because flights booked directly with airlines are much easier to change or cancel in the event that your travel plans change. The same cannot be said for flights booked through a third party.

When booking your flight, you’ll want to use a card that’ll maximize the points you earn. Ideally, it’ll also provide some complimentary travel insurance that can reimburse you in the case of delayed flights or lost luggage.

The Platinum Card® from American Express offers 5x Membership Rewards on flights booked directly with the airline or via AmexTravel.com (up to $500,000 per year, then 1x) and comes with a suite of travel insurance benefits to boot.

The Chase Sapphire Reserve® is another great option since it earns 3x Ultimate Rewards on all travel purchases. It also provides superior travel insurance to the Amex Platinum card, including reimbursement for delayed luggage, which is not something Amex offers.

Final Thoughts

Tahiti is paradise. The sandy beaches, turquoise waters, lush landscape, rich culture, and coral reefs are waiting at a price that makes this dream vacation more achievable than ever. It’s as clear as the water Tahiti’s known for — this deal is too good to pass up.
