Final Thoughts

While Frontier is a low-cost airline with limited frills, having status when flying can make the experience much better. Frontier’s limited-time status challenge is available for all flyers who are looking to reap some perks from airline elite status and save on ancillary costs such as seat selection and baggage fees.

For a $99 application fee, you can enjoy Frontier Platinum status through the end of 2026, provided you meet earn 12,500 Elite Status Points within 90 days of registration — which closes on December 31.

Even if you aren’t sure you’ll continue flying with Frontier regularly in the future, this offer could be worth considering because it opens the door to other airline status match opportunities.
