Upcoming Hotels

The Louie at Davenport Hotel, Washington State (February)

A swanky new hotel is coming to Spokane, Washington, and you’ll soon be able to book it with Marriott Bonvoy points. The Louie at Davenport Hotel is a true boutique hotel, boasting just 48 guest rooms. The hotel underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation and rebrand and will become a member of Marriott’s Autograph Collection.

Interestingly, the property will be the only hotel in Spokane to offer butler service. Other amenities include several restaurants and bars, a spa, a fitness center, and an indoor pool. While the hotel’s opening is just a few weeks away, it’s unclear how much a stay will cost with cash or Marriott Bonvoy points.

Park Hyatt Phu Quoc, Vietnam (Q3 2025)

World of Hyatt is bringing its second Park Hyatt property to Vietnam. The Park Hyatt Phu Quoc is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2025, 3 years after its initial 2022 projection. However, Hyatt has not announced an exact opening date.

The Venue, Vignette Collection Jeddah Corniche, Saudi Arabia (Late 2025)

IHG has inked a deal for a new Vignette Collection in Saudi Arabia. The Venue, Vignette Collection Jeddah Corniche, will open in late 2025 after a rebranding. The hotel will have 193 guest rooms. Amenities include a wedding hall, indoor and outdoor pools, 3 restaurants, a business center, more than a dozen meeting rooms, a fitness center, and a beauty salon.

ANA Holiday Inn Tokyo Bay (April 2025)

IHG is rebranding another hotel, this time in Japan. The hotel isn’t in Tokyo proper; rather, it’s in nearby Shinagawa.

Marriott Loses The Ritz-Carlton Budapest

It appears The Ritz-Carlton, Budapest is no more. The hotel recently shuttered its doors and is now managed by a new chain under the name Al Habtoor Palace. Marriott Bonvoy cash and award stays are no longer available.

A notice on the website reads: “Please note that this property is no longer managed under The Ritz-Carlton brand and left the portfolio on the 6th January. The property is now being managed under another brand. The reservations system is in the process of being transferred, which is why the hotel still appears on Marriott.com.”
