Hyatt has announced the development of 4 new properties coming to Mexico through 2026. This is great news for Hyatt loyalists since it expands the chain’s footprint in a popular vacation destination.

Here are the exciting details of these new Hyatt properties.

New Hyatt Properties in Mexico

In collaboration with Parks Hospitality Holdings (PPH), Hyatt will introduce 4 new properties in popular Mexico destinations — Cancun, Los Cabos, and Mexico City over the next few years.

These new hotels will help Mexico’s continued growth as a world-class vacation destination.

“We are honored to expand our relationship with Hyatt and introduce these exceptional hotels to Mexico,” says Charles El Mann Fasja, CEO of Parks Hospitality Holdings. “At PHH, we are committed to develop[ing] hotels that combine modern design with a nod to our rich heritage while also supporting local communities. By emphasizing sustainability and showcasing Mexican craftsmanship, we are raising the bar for hospitality in the region.”

Here’s a quick look at what you can expect.

Park Hyatt Cancun

Park Hyatt Cancun is expected to debut in 2025 and will be the area’s first Park Hyatt location. This beachfront property will exude understated luxury through its top-notch design and architecture, personalized service, and unique culinary experiences.

Grand Hyatt Mexico Santa Fe

Grand Hyatt Mexico Santa Fe will be Mexico’s first urban Grand Hyatt location. Scheduled to open in 2025, the hotel will be incorporated into the Distrito Santa Fe area, a modern mixed-use development in Mexico City. This hotel will offer sweeping city views and over 10,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

Grand Hyatt Los Cabos

Situated just 15 minutes west of Cabo San Lucas, this 300-room luxury property will be a part of the OLEADA Pacific Living & Golf private resort community. Scheduled to open in 2026, Grand Hyatt Los Cabos will feature an 18-hole golf course and multiple restaurants and bars on a sprawling property with access to hiking and biking trails.

Hyatt Place Cancun Airport

Not scheduled to open until late 2026, this 156-room hotel will be located just 10 minutes from Cancun International Airport (CUN). Hyatt Place Cancun Airport will be a contemporary select-service option for business and leisure travelers alike.

Hot Tip:

These upcoming openings will give World of Hyatt members even more opportunities to earn and redeem World of Hyatt points at fantastic properties.
