World of Hyatt members looking to plan a safari now have more options to choose from.

Hyatt has added 15 Asilia Africa camps across Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda through Mr & Mrs Smith that you can book using points, giving travelers access to some of East Africa’s most stunning landscapes and wildlife experiences.

Here’s what you should know.

Safari Camps Now Available to Book and Redeem Points With Hyatt

World of Hyatt members can now earn and redeem points for stays at Asilia Africa’s luxury safari camps — a collection known for combining memorable wildlife experiences with a strong commitment to local communities and conservation.

With 15 camps now bookable through Hyatt channels via Mr & Mrs Smith, travelers have a range of options depending on the landscapes and wildlife they want to experience.

In Tanzania, the lineup includes Dunia Camp in the Serengeti — East Africa’s first safari camp run entirely by women — and Namiri Plains, a camp set squarely in big-cat territory. Other standouts include Jabali Ridge in Ruaha National Park, tucked among massive granite boulders; The Highlands, perched on the slopes of the Olmoti Volcano near the Ngorongoro Crater; and the intimate Usangu Expedition Camp, where evenings end with wide-open Ruaha sunsets.

In Kenya, travelers can choose Ol Pejeta Bush Camp, located along a river where elephants often roam and offering clear views of Mount Kenya. The collection also extends into Uganda, a new addition for Hyatt and Mr & Mrs Smith, opening even more of East Africa to World of Hyatt members.

While it’s exciting that World of Hyatt members can now use points toward safari stays, it won’t come cheap. For example, Ol Pejeta Bush Camp in Kenya starts at 126,250 points per night for a tent that sleeps up to 3 people. Based on our research, the other 14 camps all start above 100,000 points per night.

It’s a pricey redemption, but for travelers looking to use Hyatt points on a once-in-a-lifetime safari experience, the option is now on the table.

Safari camps tend to book up quickly during peak seasons — especially in areas known for the Great Migration or big-cat viewing. If your travel dates aren’t flexible, locking in a reservation early can make a big difference.
