Hyatt just released its first Bonus Journeys global promotion of the year. This promotion gives you 2 ways to earn more World of Hyatt points over the next few months.

You can earn up to 30,000 World of Hyatt points during this promotion. You’ll earn the most significant bonus at Hyatt Place and Hyatt House properties, but staying at other brands will also yield extra points.

Let’s take a closer look at the details.

Earn Bonus Points on Your Next Hyatt Stay

Between January 27 and March 28, 2025, you can earn 3x World of Hyatt points at Hyatt Place and Hyatt House properties and 2x points at other Hyatt properties. This includes stays at Mr & Mrs Smith properties and The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas, which recently joined World of Hyatt.

Register online by March 10, 2025, to earn bonus points. You’ll earn a minimum of 15 points per $1 spent at Hyatt Place and Hyatt House properties and 10 points per $1 spent at other Hyatt properties, up to the stated limits. This doesn’t include elite status bonuses you’re eligible for or points you earn with a rewards credit card.

Speaking of limits, you can earn up to 10,000 bonus points at Hyatt Place and Hyatt House properties and 20,000 bonus points at other properties. In turn, you’ll earn 30,000 bonus points if you maximize both promotions. This is worth $450 based on Upgraded Points’ valuation of World of Hyatt points at 1.5 cents each.

It’s worth noting that stays booked before enrollment are eligible for the bonus. Just make sure to register for the promotion by March 10 and complete your stay before the promotion expires. Award stays are also eligible, but you’ll only earn bonus points on qualifying incidentals charged to your room.

Finally, note that only 1 room is eligible for this bonus. If you book multiple rooms on the same reservation, only 1 will earn double or triple points. Points will be posted to your World of Hyatt account 2 to 3 weeks after you complete an eligible stay.

Hot Tip:

This new Bonus Journey promotion is a great excuse to continue working on your Hyatt Brand Explorer awards. This gives you a free night certificate every time you stay at 5 different hotel brands for the first time.

Final Thoughts

This new Bonus Journeys promotion triples your points earnings at Hyatt Place and Hyatt House properties and doubles earnings at other Hyatt properties worldwide. If you have an upcoming Hyatt stay, register by March 10 and complete your stays between January 27 and March 28, 2025, to earn these bonuses.
