Hyatt’s latest all-inclusive property — the Dreams Madeira Resort, Spa, and Marina — is now available for booking. This is Hyatt’s first all-inclusive in Portugal, found in the Caniçal region in the eastern part of Madeira Island.

Here is a look at what this latest property will offer to guests and how you can book it.

New Dreams All-Inclusive Hotel Opens in Madeira

The new family-friendly Dreams Madeira Resort, Spa, and Marina has 366 guest rooms and suites, and all guest rooms feature a furnished terrace or balcony. The design of the property honors traditional Madeiran architecture with warm, bright, and fresh décor.

Guests can enjoy 4 distinct pools, including a main 3-tiered pool overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, a Splash Park Pool with water slides that kids are sure to love, an adults-only pool, a quiet pool bar to relax and recharge, and a freshwater pool with views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Additionally, in January 2025, the property will open the doors to its 9,600-square-foot Dreams Spa, which will offer a variety of treatments and amenities like a heated indoor pool, jacuzzi, hammam steam baths, sauna, cold water plunge, diathermic showers, and 7 treatment cabins.

But 1 of the most important parts of any all-inclusive is its food, and guests can dine at 7 restaurants and 5 bars that showcase both local and international cuisine. These include Carvão, specializing in meats and grill specialties, and Clube de Fado, serving up regional specialties.

Booking Dreams Madeira Resort, Spa, and Marina

With the Dreams Madeira Resort, Spa & Marina now officially open, you’ll have the option of redeeming your World of Hyatt points for award nights at the property.

That said, at the moment award availability at the property seems to be pretty sparse. In fact, using MaxMyPoint, we only see Standard Suite availability for the next few months, with point pricing ranging from 38,000 to 46,000 points per night.

It is likely that this is a temporary error as the property gets onboarded into the World of Hyatt system, so check back periodically to see if additional award space has been released.

As a Category B property on the all-inclusive award chart, free nights cost between 17,000 and 23,000 points per night, depending on the peak and off-peak calendar. Alternatively, cash rates for double occupancy range from $380 to $600 per night. The lower end of that range is quite reasonable for 2 guests at a property of this quality.

If you need to boost your balance of World of Hyatt points quickly, don’t forget that the hotel chain is also a transfer partner of Chase Ultimate Rewards and Bilt Rewards.

Final Thoughts

This luxury resort marks Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection’s entry into Portugal, and it’s a great new option for award travelers. However, the property isn’t showing standard award availability for base-level rooms, so we hope to see this corrected soon.
