World of Hyatt’s 15th Inclusive Collection resort in the Dominican Republic is now open. Sunscape Coco Punta Cana, the brand’s second Sunscape Resort & Spa, is now open in the Caribbean country and will be located in the town of Cabeza de Toro.

The recently remodeled resort will be another great family-friendly option for travelers to consider.

Here’s what you can expect.

A Bavaro Beach Escape

Bavaro Beach boasts white sand and clear blue water. It’s also home to the newly-opened Sunscape Coco Punta Cana.

The resort has a whopping 1,059 guestrooms of varying layouts and views. Each room comes with a furnished balcony or terrace. Families can look forward to staying in spacious up to 3-bedroom suites and connecting rooms. There’s also an adults-only portion of the resort.

Upgraded suites and other amenities can be found in Club-Level rooms. These elevated guestrooms include multi-room family suites, adults-only suites, the Sun Club Lounge, and separate food and beverage offerings. Guestrooms also feature upgraded mini-bar service and bath products.

Amenities are plentiful, starting with the Explorer’s Club, which is aimed at kids aged 3 to 12 years old. Additional activities included in the room rate include nighttime entertainment, beach volleyball, water sports, aqua aerobics, and more.

There are a dozen restaurants at Sunscape Coco Punta Cana, including à la carte, buffet, and grab-and-go options. Cuisine options include Italian, Asian, and Amazonian cuisine.

Lastly, there’s a dedicated beach for Sun Club guests in both the adults-only and family-friendly sections of the resort.

It’s worth noting that you should expect to be able to redeem World of Hyatt points at Inclusive Collection properties. However, at the time of writing, Sunscape Coco Punta Cana is not currently accepting World of Hyatt points. Hopefully, that changes soon in the future.

Hotel brands are going all-in on all-inclusive resorts, and World of Hyatt is no exception. Sunscape Coco Punta Cana is a large property with more than 1,000 guestrooms, making it suitable for families and groups of any size. If a large resort is not to your liking, plenty of other options are available within the Inclusive collection.
