Hyatt is bringing its vibrant Andaz brand to 2 new cities in Asia.

Some details of the brand-new Andaz Hiroshima and Andaz Hong Kong have just been revealed, but we’ll have to wait until 2027 before they open their doors to guests. When they open, the total number of Andaz properties will reach 35.

Here’s everything we know so far about Hyatt’s new Andaz hotels in Hiroshima and Hong Kong.

Hyatt’s Andaz Hong Kong

Andaz Hong Kong has a prime location at 118 Wellington Street in Central Hong Kong.

The property will boast a first-of-its-kind Andaz Village, featuring a retail hub, well-being experiences, and gourmet dining. The hotel also promises a state-of-the-art fitness center.

Hong Kong is a special city for Hyatt, as it was the location of its first hotel outside of the U.S. in 1969, so it’s fitting that it was chosen for the first-ever Andaz Village.

With 125 rooms and suites, the hotel is on the smaller side, which should give it a boutique feel.

Hyatt’s New Andaz Hiroshima

When the hotel opens its doors, the Hiroshima location will join the Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills as only the second Andaz in Japan.

In stark contrast to the ultra-modern exterior, the hotel’s interior will incorporate elements of Hiroshima Castle, which previously stood on the site.

The hotel will occupy the top 10 floors of the yet-to-be-constructed building in the center of the historic city. It will have 235 rooms and suites on the 21st to 31st floors of the building.

“Hiroshima, a globally recognized destination offering a rich combination of culture, tradition, and development, is the perfect location for a new Andaz hotel in Japan,” said Sam Sakamura, representative director of Japan and Micronesia for Hyatt.

In addition to being only the second Andaz in Japan, the hotel will be the first Hyatt in Japan’s Chugoku region, close to some of Japan’s best UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Its location will open up new travel possibilities for World of Hyatt loyalists.

The property isn’t slated to open until 2027, so we don’t have any specifics about pricing or points rates to share.
