Spring is just around the corner, a season known for change and transformation. JetBlue is taking advantage of this time to introduce some exciting updates to its onboard experience.

The New York-based airline will introduce a new amenity kit in Mint (business class), some tasty new dishes in both cabins, and the onboard IFE will feature some fresh themed content.

Here’s more on the changes you’ll get to enjoy on your next JetBlue flight.

Spring Brings New Changes Aboard JetBlue

New Amenity Kits And Products

New reusable amenity kits will soon be available for passengers flying in Mint — the airline’s business class product — on both domestic and transatlantic flights.

From March 13, 2024, those flying between the U.S. and Europe in Mint will receive a Caraa mini, mint-colored drawstring backpack that folds out from a charcoal pouch.

Also by Caraa, a new collectable pouch in a variety of colors (clay, gunmetal, sage, and sand) will be handed out to passengers flying Mint on domestic routes starting April 1, 2024.

As well as the usual goodies from Tuft & Needle, passengers will find new wellness products from Dr. Dennis Gross and Plus Ultra.

JetBlue carefully selected Dr. Dennis Gross for its cruelty-free and safe-for-skin products and Plus Ultra was a no-brainer given its eco-conscious ethos.

New Dishes in Mint and Core

New Mint Offerings

Passengers in Mint will soon be dining out on a new selection of dishes from New York’s Legacy Records restaurant.

For breakfast, new palate-pleasers include a coconut yogurt with maple-pecan ginger granola (yum) and a warm rosemary honey biscuit.

New options for afternoon and evening meals include a delicious lamb shoulder with roasted carrots, harissa, and citrus breadcrumbs, as well as the vegetarian option of orzo with roasted tomatoes, marinated feta, and arugula. Both options sound very appetizing.

New Core (Economy) Offerings

Tasty new treats will also be on offer to Core (economy) passengers thanks to an update from JetBlue’s partner DIG.

Starting with breakfast, passengers can choose from herb and cheese frittata with kale, potato, and rosemary or vegan French toast with dried cherry jam.

And dishes coming to lunch and dinner menus include jerk chicken with coconut rice and pickled habanada peppers with new sides to pick from such as shredded beetroot and carrot salad with candied sunflower seeds or a kale, parsley, and quinoa salad with demi-sec tomatoes.

Yes, that is an economy-class menu.

IFE Updates

If you didn’t know already, JetBlue is launching a new seasonal service to Dublin which starts on March 13, 2024.

With that, JetBlue passengers flying in March will get to enjoy an Irish-themed category of movies, including titles like ‘Brooklyn,’ ‘Once,’ ‘The Quiet Girl,’ ‘Sing Street,’ and more.

Additionally, in March, the airline will introduce a new category called ‘Awards Season’ to its inflight entertainment. This will feature a variety of modern and classic blockbusters.

Final Thoughts

Whether you’re seated in Mint or Core, you’ll get to experience something fresh from JetBlue this March. Personal favorites from us at Upgraded Points are the reusable Caraa bag in Mint and the jerk chicken and coconut rice dish in Core.
