If you’ve ever tried to fly from New York City to Naples, Florida, you know the drill: Fight traffic to an airport outside the city, stand in chaotic lines at airport security, and then fight for a rental car at Fort Myers before driving another 40 minutes south.

JSX is about to change that equation entirely.

Starting October 8, the semiprivate airline will operate nonstop flights between Teterboro Airport (TEB) in New Jersey and Naples Municipal Airport (APF), putting you right in the heart of the Paradise Coast without a layover or a crowded terminal in sight.

Details of JSX’s New Route to Naples

Naples isn’t exactly overserved by commercial airlines. The closest major gateway is Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers, roughly 35 to 40 miles north of Naples. Flying commercially from New York City is possible with nonstop service from a handful of airlines out of the 3 major NYC-area airports.

Those airports all come with their own positives and negatives, which include the traffic and the crowds. This route cuts all of that out.

Passengers with JSX will depart from Teterboro, a general aviation airport in Teterboro, New Jersey, 12 miles from Midtown Manhattan, and land at Naples Municipal Airport, skipping the extra drive.

Getting to Teterboro from midtown Manhattan is simple. Most travelers take a ride-hailing or car service, which typically takes 20 to 35 minutes, depending on traffic. It’s a different experience from fighting your way through JFK or navigating Newark’s Terminal C.

And the JSX product itself is part of the value. The airline operates out of private terminals with no TSA lines, no packed gate areas, and a check-in window of just 20 minutes before departure on domestic flights. Bags are included, seating is wider than what you’d find on a typical commercial regional jet, and the entire experience skews closer to private aviation than anything you’d get at a major hub.

Naples, for context, is one of the wealthiest cities in the country and a perennial favorite for snowbirds and leisure travelers. Winter demand for Southwest Florida is consistently strong, and this route launches right as peak season begins. The timing is smart.

How To Book

To book this flight, you need a Club JSX membership, but membership is completely free. You can sign up at jsx.com in a few minutes.

Once you’re a member, tickets for this route start at $605 one-way for the Hop On fare. The All In fare runs $785 one-way and adds flexibility — worth considering if your Naples plans are subject to change.

Here’s a quick breakdown of what each fare gets you:

The Hop On fare is the entry point. It covers the core JSX experience: private terminal departure from Teterboro, checked bags included, premium seating, Starlink inflight Wi-Fi, complimentary snacks and drinks, and the flight from A to B. For most travelers, this is the right ticket.

The All In fare adds change and cancellation flexibility. On a leisure-heavy route like this — where plans can shift — that added wiggle room has real value for those who need it.

Members also earn 5% back on JSX travel toward future flights. It’s not a transformative loyalty program, but it’s a nice benefit on a ticket that already comes with plenty of perks baked in.

Hot Tip:

Note that prices can go up as seats sell out. The $605 price appears to be the starting point on this route.

Final Thoughts

JSX’s new Teterboro-to-Naples route solves a real problem for New York-area travelers heading to Southwest Florida: getting there without traffic in NYC or a long drive from Fort Myers. The $605 starting fare isn’t cheap, but for a nonstop, semiprivate experience that lands you right in Naples, the value is genuinely compelling.

If a winter trip to the Paradise Coast is in your plans, this one deserves a serious look.
