If you have travel plans to visit sunny South Florida in the near future, you now have 2 fresh opportunities to redeem points — whether you’re planning a laid-back escape in Key West or a beach vacation in Miami Beach.

A group of historic boutique inns in Key West has joined Small Luxury Hotels of the World, making them bookable with Hilton Honors points, while Miami Beach’s long-awaited hotel project has officially opened as UNFRAMED, Autograph Collection, now part of Marriott Bonvoy (after its original plan including launching as a Thompson property).

Here’s what you need to know — including what these stays will cost in cash and points.

Key West Historic Inns Now Bookable With Hilton Points

A collection of boutique properties in Old Town Key West, has officially joined Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH), a partner of Hilton Honors, meaning you can now redeem Hilton points for a stay at any of these historic properties.

The portfolio includes:

These inns are spread throughout Old Town, putting guests within easy walking distance of Duval Street, the Historic Seaport, and many of Key West’s top dining and cultural spots.

This addition is significant because of Hilton’s partnership with SLH, which allows travelers to earn and redeem Hilton Honors points at independently operated boutique hotels that wouldn’t typically be part of a major loyalty program.

Award pricing varies between properties, but we’re currently seeing rates at 95,000 points per night, while cash rates generally range from $250 to $500+ per night, depending on the time of year and demand.

While award rates at this level aren’t necessarily a bargain, they provide a valuable new way to use Hilton points in Key West — a destination where chain hotel options are limited and award availability has historically been difficult to find.

For Hilton loyalists, especially those with a balance of points or free night certificates, this opens up a much more flexible and appealing way to stay in the heart of Key West.

Hot Tip:

Some of these Key West inns were previously affiliated with IHG One Rewards, but they’re now fully integrated with Hilton Honors through SLH — making it much easier for Hilton fans to earn and redeem points for a stay.

UNFRAMED, Autograph Collection Miami Beach Now Bookable With Points

After an abrupt cancellation under Hyatt last year, what was originally expected to open as the Thompson Miami Beach has officially resurfaced — this time as UNFRAMED, Autograph Collection Miami Beach, now part of Marriott Bonvoy.

The hotel is located in a prime location on Washington Avenue, just steps from the famed Lincoln Road and the Miami Beach Convention Center, making it a convenient option for both leisure travelers and those visiting for events.

The property features a lifestyle-driven design, accompanied by a rooftop pool with cabanas, multiple bars and social spaces, and a large rooftop restaurant concept set to debut shortly, adding to its appeal as a social hub in the area.

Award rates start around 63,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per night, while cash rates begin at approximately $460 per night, giving you a baseline redemption value of about 0.7 cents per point — right in line with our valuation of Marriott Bonvoy points.

Marriott free night certificates — particularly those worth up to 85,000 points — can be used here, and lower-tier certificates can be topped off with additional points if needed. Combined with strong welcome bonuses from Marriott credit cards, this makes the property relatively attainable for those looking to book a stay using points.

For a brand-new hotel in a walkable part of Miami Beach, this adds a nice new option to Marriott Bonvoy for travelers looking to redeem Marriott points in a world-class beach destination.

Final Thoughts

This is a win for points travelers, especially in Key West where hotel award redemptions are a bit more limited. With these additions, you now have more flexibility across both Key West and Miami Beach — whether you’re after a boutique island stay or a new, well-located hotel near the beach.
