Your Marriott Bonvoy points just got a lot more useful for unforgettable escapes to the nation’s most beautiful national parks.

The Red Cliffs Lodges in Moab and Zion have recently been added to the hotel giant’s portfolio, allowing members to earn and redeem points for their next stay. These resorts offer the perfect backdrop fromforyour next adventure. Here’s everything you should know about these recent additions.

Red Cliffs Lodge Hotels Join Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio

The Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab and the Red Cliffs Lodge Zion have just joined Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio collection. But what can you expect at each property?

Over at the Red Cliffs Lodge Moab, guest rooms exude a cozy summer camp vibe with a rustic log cabin design. What’s more, the base rooms can accommodate up to 6 people, making this a great option for families. Guests can enjoy a variety of on-site activities, including horseback riding, rafting on the Colorado River, and exploring trails in nearby Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, all complemented by a strong emphasis on wellness.

Over in Zion National Park, the Red Cliffs Lodge just got a major facelift at the beginning of this year, and the new rooms are quite modern compared to the ones in Moab. When guests aren’t exploring Zion (which is just a mile away), guests can enjoy an on-site restaurant, outdoor firepits, a fitness center, and a pool.

How To Book

Marriott Bonvoy doesn’t have an award chart, so the rates will highly depend on when you’re visiting. Peak season for both national parks are fall and spring, so that’s when you can expect to pay more — whether that’s cash or points.

However, we found some great deals during the early winter months in 2025, with nightly rates at both properties starting at just $119. During peak season in April, these rates climb to $1,000 per night.

In comparison, it will cost you as little as 70,000 Marriott Bonvoy points to book a stay at the Red Cliffs Lodge Zion. That drops to as little as 60,000 points per night at the Red Cliffs Lodge Moab. Remember that all members can get their fifth night free on consecutive award nights, making this an excellent use of your Marriott Bonvoy points.

Hot Tip:

Even better, Marriott Bonvoy members who use promo code S2449 can earn 1,000 bonus points per night at the Red Cliffs Moab, so long as they book (and stay) by February 27, 2025.

Final Thoughts

Planning a national park trip with points is easier than ever, thanks to the new (or newly joined) hotels in major hotel programs like Marriott. The Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab and Zion should be popular among travelers who want access to the great outdoors with comfortable accommodations.
